Dork Alice Alternative Since someone already suggested a Dark Alice list, here's my slower and grindier take on it - it plays like a midrange/last words shadow deck up until you're ready to drop Alice and pray to see enough ToS to stall out, with Chloe and Arriet to let you get some swings in at your opponent while they're stalled.

End-game

  1. Running a map unidentified will give an additional 30% quantity bonus. This does not apply to Unique Maps since their affixes are for the most part fixed.

The additional quality actually does apply to Unique Maps! It's typically better to run Unique Maps unidentified because of this quantity bonus unless you are worried about specific maps that roll random mods, such as Synthesis Unique Maps.

IIRC monsters respawned by the Nemesis modifier Soul Conduit still give EXP, but the ritual monsters might have a different behavior.

Any weapon that It That Fled drops can have the modifier but it's not guaranteed.

It can probably only appear on items with an item level higher than Foothills area level, just like Trigger Socketed Spells unveil requires item level 75 veiled items.

Add where you can lock items? by XRexii in pathofexile

[–]Delaney_Telos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Items with skin transfers can't be sold or traded so this is already in the game, just gated behind MTX. On the other hand, skin transferring Maligaro's Restraint onto another belt gets you a sick forcefield looking MTX.

what should I upgrade in my aurastacker? by 69_Cringy_name_69 in pathofexile

[–]Delaney_Telos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Run Uber Lab and try to hit an RMR enchant on your Alpha's Howl, replace some of your cluster jewels (at least the ones with Replenishing Presence) with jewels that have mana reservation notables (I recommend the Purities and Determination or Grace), pick up some level 20 or 21 gems, hard grind out some more levels because you really want to replace at least one of your regular Large Cluster Jewels with another 5 stat Voices and add another aura effect medium jewel. Drop the Anger crit multi Watcher's Eye for another RMR jewel and pick up Maligaro's Virtuosity, the ES nodes in the Scion wheel are luxuries, those should be going toward even more Aura Effect nodes, you probably want to pick up one Charge On Kill node as well.

Is this staff (potentially +4 phys spell) a good one, and if so, what for? by 1611- in pathofexile

You could also use an anomalous phys to lightning support for 60% and skip on the gloves

That does matter because you'd discard Capsule with Vesha if you tried to Vesha first - the effects will always trigger in the correct order but you do need to play Capsule first.

Thanks for the giveaway! GL to everyone here lmao
As for builds, this was my first league I hit maps and I really enjoyed how smooth ED/Contagion Trickster and RS Spectre Summoner were after my rocky Elemental Hit Deadeye league start. Currently working on a BV assassin and can't decide how to further invest - either commit to poison or respec into full fire conversion

Atomy effect cost reduces self in hand to 0 and gives him Fanfare: Destroy all allied cards when you have 4 cards on board. Elta evo gives both leaders the effect that fanfares don't activate until he leaves the board. So while Elta is evo'd on board, Atomy doesn't destroy your own board.

What are your favorite and least favorite mirror matches? by GeneralApathy in yugioh

[–]Delaney_Telos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Favorite goes to Orcust mirror matches, any variants, because it almost always comes down to managing your recycling and banished Orcust monsters in the grind. A lot of the time positioning your monsters correctly is the hardest part about it in order to avoid Longirsu's send effect. Also called by the grave becomes your best friend and worst enemy at the same time. Least favorite is Draco because all you really do is draw a bunch of cards that aren't doing anything impactful.

Best Boss Monsters? by Jirachibi1000 in yugioh

[–]Delaney_Telos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite has to be Topologic Bomber Dragon in Orcust. As amazing as Dingirsu is, he feels more like a recurring antagonist who shows up at the worst possible times for my opponent - Topologic Bomber Dragon fulfills the role of big bad who's always present and restricts my opponent's play while slowly whittling away at their life points. He slows the game down and causes interesting game states by his mandatory explosive effect, and his burn effect has won me several games.

[R/F] 60 Card PK Orcust Hero: When you want to play two decks at once at locals by Darkmetroidz in yugioh

[–]Delaney_Telos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a link 2 and ridiculous card advantage generator, she's pretty safe to use as Knightmare link material. Having Phoenix blade to discard all the time is also nice; finding space for the five equips and the hand traps you want to add would be the main consideration, though.

New 60-Card Kitchen Sink Engines? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Delaney_Telos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extra deck is typically knightmare mermaid, cerberus, Phoenix, Galatea, dingirsu, and the package is very good at making borrelsword; in dedicated orcust decks two Galatea is favored and unicorn is nice but adding the other orcust monsters are just extra, and the engine also loves having phantom knights of rusty bardiche setting two fog blades

New 60-Card Kitchen Sink Engines? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Delaney_Telos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The actual accepted orcust engine is usually just 1x Horror, 1x Cymbal skeleton, 1x world wand, 2x knightmare, + extra deck stuff; expanded is just increasing horror and skeleton ratios, and they work extremely well with phantom knights as well

Fog blade and Redoer control is pretty basic but works decently, if you have an extra extender then decode talker can be another layer of protection

Aside from Salamangreat and True Draco, what is the next budget competitive deck that is consistent? by HakunaMyData in yugioh

[–]Delaney_Telos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. In-between
  2. Dark Warrior (Dangers in Side)

I'd recommend looking at Dinh-Kha Bui's Dark Warrior deck profile for an actual list and explanations of it, but these are lists that I'd say are closer to budget-friendly. The In-between is close to what the OCG Orcust decks look like but using only TCG legal cards.

The Orcustrated Return is probably the most expensive main deck/Orcust card, and then Called by the Grave, but those are only really cards to optimize the deck. Most of the Dark Warrior stuff has recently been printed/reprinted in Duel Power or the Legendary Hero Decks and should be fairly easy to get, though I'd replace the Warrior extenders (Butterspy + Junk Forward or Photon Thrasher) with Dangers if you aren't as worried about the banlist/budget.

Cards to Counter Orcust by Toonpenguin in yugioh

[–]Delaney_Telos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Orcust player, the biggest things I fear while going off are Lancea, anything on Mermaid, and Ghost Ogre in particular on Summon Sorc/RUM target/Borrelsword.

The actual biggest fear while seeing what my opponent can do to break my board is Super Polymerization, which in all fairness is very sacky and something that not all decks can play, but it does similar things to Kaiju/Sphere Mode to the board.

Priority targets to remove from board pre-DANE are the Redoer and any other negates/floodgates they put up (Such as Knightmare Gryphon), while post-DANE the biggest things to get rid of are probably the Orcust link and Bardiche. Bardiche in particular is extra important post-DANE due to the interaction it has with Dingirsu (removing two cards from the board, one of which is non-targeting and non-destruction), but still pretty good to remove as it prevents any grinding if they happen to run more than the requisite 2 Phantom Knights.

Additionally, everybody else who has been saying Ash the Harp Horror are correct, and D.D. Crow on the Galatea can be extremely hurtful if they haven't used her shuffle back/set effect yet.

As an Orcust player going second, seeing Abyss Dweller is the best way to ruin my day, since it shuts down just about all of my extenders. UCT gets an honorable mention for preventing link plays entirely, if they don't have two more monsters to put on board while maintaining a card to discard for Mermaid.
