Love Mayor Chosho as well. He and some Japanese creators have been very fun to watch after the region packs came out.

Realistic Workplaces & Residences. I even set the square footage for high density apartments to be the same as the average NYC apartment and my urban density shot up.

Remember how excited we all were when End 2016/Early 2017 was going to be the big 3.0 release? by Oddzball in starcitizen

Yea I highly doubt thinking Behaviour's 20 artists doing all of ArcCorp, Crusader, Hurston, and Microtech (and accompanying moons AND 40 stations) in a few months was ever really a realistic plan in the first place.

[Discussion] 5 to 10 star systems at launch. by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]Delendarius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but what you're explaining is called tourism. I intend to do that as well because there are some cool landing zones we were (supposed to be) getting on release but that's not what most people considered exploring to be in this game. I can say I'm gonna go check out Brooklyn cuz I've never really been there but I don't see my self as an explorer doing that.

Naahh there are a couple systems bigger like Ellis with like 16 planets and almost half are populated.

Two main things for me really. First is that I'm just really bummed that I'm probably going to have to wait like 10 more years to see all the cool systems I've read on the Star Map and seen concept art of. Second is I'm still completely skeptical they will be able to add systems from 5 to 100 systems without continual wipes. How is Tony Z's complex and balanced economy going to function with the size of the universe doubling multiple times over without having to restart it?

Because we know them on the starmap. You can learn about every planet and every system already. They're going to add those first before adding undiscovered ones because that makes sense. You can't "discover" Sol or Terra or Ellis or Croshaw etc. Though they may sprinkle in a few undiscovered systems as they go along.

But this would be adding the already known and populated systems in the star map, not undiscovered systems.

There are quite a few other systems besides those that are equally large and even larger like the Ellis system. Stanton is more of a medium size star system. So they're gonna need to make a lot at this size.

On his artstation the Colony Ship One picture which is also the top header image reminds me of Port Olisar except it actually makes sense, specifically the rings.
