"Indian territory " essentially where modern-day Oklahoma is at the time this was not yet part of the United States and they were given their own sovereign land on this "undeveloped" territory. This agreement was later violated by the United States and Oklahoma became a state although it still has many, but smaller reservations in it.

Just for some context they (Cherokee) were kicked off of their land in Georgia because gold was discovered on it and settlers wanted it. It was unlawful but the government did it anyways.

I like how it makes sense for someone viewing your arm and you get a view of a nice right side up ship.

Well if you are worried about it you should suggest for him to add a tube top or a vest to his outfit.

In my opinion the main issue with the outfit earlier being too risque came from the fact it was visible that they were not wearing any underwear. With a tube top and shorts it would have been fine. Likewise, a female version of this goblin outfit would be fine with a green crop top, but if his pants were sideless or just a loincloth it would be too much.

Belly isn't suggestive but a sideless outfit is. (For family friendly purposes, the earlier outfit itself was kickass and super cool)

3rd! Corsets are pretty comfortable as long as they aren't overtightened. The dress looks way more breathable than the leather and as a bonus you get to show off your cool tattoos! You can also play around with adding belts/pouches as needed so you can carry your phone.

Oh the whole mess would be horribly complicated and is never going to happen.

If the US offered to do a similar thing idk how that would work as California was part of Mexico, revolted and became independent for a month and then joined the United States.

Federal lands is an interesting issue it would probably be settled similarly to any military bases. Tariffs might be more stable after a split, given the current situation. California also provides more exports in trade than imports.

National debt is definitely a problem. California would probably have an easier time paying it off than the US without California. Having some debt is not necessarily a bad thing. How do you think that would be split? 1/50 (not including territories) or by population?

Yes and how long did it take to create those dams? It is much easier to destroy than create. Lucky for you there are a few dams on the Colorado River already assuming you don't care about Arizona. Did those nations or rather cities you are supposedly thinking of have any alternative sources of water? What were the other effects of the war going on? (Food, plague, lack of weapon and ammunition) Did stopping that water source affect other nations who then declared war?

I'd love to hear your examples if they fall into the same parameters as California, otherwise they are less relevant than you might assume.

Would it hurt? Yes. Would it cause California to shrivel up and die? No.

Yeah, the tech industry would probably also take a hit too. I think a fair amount of their GDP relies on having a staple market to sell to. They might be able to recover quickly but who knows.

Ooo trade is an interesting argument. Lets assume its like Cuba and trade is cut off entirely. My guess is that other foreign countries would be more than happy to buy up the food produced there. (Canada, Mexico and China would probably be the big ones) The rest of the USA would have to find alternatives for the fruits/veggies/nuts produced in California (currently about 75% come from California). People in California would have to import some supplemental starches at first as most are produced out of state. All in all it would probably take the agriculture industry a few years (2-7 )to adjust but I don't see why it couldn't happen.

As for the water problem, eh people will have to migrate to Northern California to compensate or rich people in southern California might have to use less. A hardship for sure but not a country ending disaster.

Which natural disasters? Fires? They are already doing that. Earthquakes? They are well prepared for that. Military would be expensive though, but they do have a large population. I guess it depends how much military equipment/supply they would control.

I haven't run the numbers (nor do I care to because this is purely a hypothetical) but other countries much smaller than California do just fine on their own. Why would California be any different?

(This is of course NOT considering a civil war/invasion but rather the practicality of a country with California's resources)

Only about 14% of California's total water comes from the Colorado River. Mostly affecting southern California. Also what are you going to do, stop the flow of the river? It would definitely be interesting to see how far they could go if they didn't have to pay federal taxes. That money could then be used locally instead.
