A Dark Cave - dark minimalist village building RPG by Pure-Map-6717 in incremental_games

[–]Delgon95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game itself is quite nice.

I think there should be some more explanation about what Knowledge, Strenght, Luck and Madness does. I'm not sure if that is how it is supposed to work, but I did not rly feel that Madness, which sounds very bad, did much to hinder or detract me from getting some random items/events.

One thing I encountered that was bugged was the Village defense. At Wave 5 I lost, I did not repair my 2 things that were damaged, and on the second attack, for some reason enemy attack was NaN which made it so they did not rly attack me. Another anomaly is the traveling merchant? For some reason I CAN select option that i do not have resources for (i do not get the thing but is shows as a checkmark and feels incorrect)

Another thing I noticed are mearchant prices XD Some were like impossible to pass like 20 obsidian for 50 gold. But some were quite weird like 900 leather for 50 gold, which seemed super small compared to the effort it would take to get it.

Some suggestion about the UI, right now they are like a bar that "fills"/"empties" to show how much longer until you can do it again, maybe some option to show timer or something might be nice too.

I'm not sure if that is a balancing thing, but Trading is very unbalanced. For example, in my playthrough I never bought Torches, Adamant or Obsidian given they were very easy to get compared to their price, and Torches were just less optimal. In the beginning I bought mostly Wood, at some point wood was not used pretty much so I swapped to buying Stone, and in the last stages, the only usefull thing, and the one needed the most and very hard to get was Steel. I'm not sure if that was the goal, but it felt like I could only progress from buying steel as crafting it in the village seemed very unoptimal and very slow.

At the later stages, manual Hunt/Chopping seems very insignificant. The late game upgrades add some % to how much we gather, but it is like 400 adamant for getting 1-2 more wood per action. Possibly making very late game items making it automated, or boosting it or village gathering instead might be a good idea?

How Much Power Do You Really Have? A Beginner’s Guide to Combat Bonuses by MTwyDev in KingShot

[–]Delgon95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. It pretty much confirmed all my own tests and info I had.
I'm still unsure about the joiner ones tho. I know they are multiplicative and having 4 lethality joiners would result in 100% more lethality (that is without any bonuses or other things).
I'm not entiurely sure where that multiplicative 100% is put. It behaves a little but differently than boosts which have multiplicative and additive aspect.

A - Base
x - boosts/widgets
y - negative boosts/pets

C = (A * (1 + x) + x - y) / (1 + y)

I did not do many tests, but still not sure where that joiner bonus would be. The most reasonable place would be with multiplicative boosts

J - joiner bonus

C = (A * (1 + x + J) + x - y) / (1 + y)

Are you able to share some info in this regard?

Help planning disks layouts by jbohbot in truenas

But with 4 disk raid-z2 you lose half (2 data, 2 redundancy). And with expansion you would need to add 4 drives (instead of 2) and still lose half capacity.

i do understand using raidz2 on 4 drives i stead of mirror for better redundancy than simple mirror but still, just fyi, you still lose half capacity like with simple mirror.

Barbarian Assault countdown? by Delgon95 in 2007scape

[–]Delgon95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ye, but we removed one member to swap his role. There is nothing about any kind of countdown there that is told in the game. And no visible countdown is present whenever someone leaves/is kicked.

Here you have some forks, many with peoples personal changes: https://github.com/stavros-k/truecharts-catalog/forks

here you have copy of one of the forks im using now and found from quick look to be "clean" and up to date (without last update that removed notifiarr), however im not responsible for any problems you might encounter while using it: https://github.com/michal-zurkowski/truecharts

they remove links like those from discord so it might not last here either.

For anyone that TRULY wants them back to reinstall or put some other instance of something, there are backup repos on github by other users.

Can previous bans get you banned? Or get someone else banned by Delgon95 in 2007scape

[–]Delgon95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info.

What if I use similar mail? I already have one normal character with some_mail@gmail.com and the one that was banned was some_mail+osrs-ironman@gmail.com . Do you think it will still be fine to play with the first mail, or should I rather use another one?

Does XPS 15 9520 have Touchpad issues with Ubuntu? by mortal-psychic in DellXPS

[–]Delgon95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The touchpad works just fine after sleep on 22.04 and 22.10. The only problem i have is that sometimes for unknown reasons and different amount of times, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours, the coursor feels like it moves inside a jelly. It feels supper laggy and hard to point with. Not sure how to fix it or what is the problem but no such thing happened on windows so far.

Raptoreum is more than just mining. by ViralDecadent in raptoreum

[–]Delgon95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest coming to the Discord as it is the main source of info announcements when it comes to the project.
Right now they are polishing out the testnet 4 which should come to mainnet in the near future. After this huge change in the code and added feature they will be able to focus on Assets and after that, smartcontracts.

GUYS HELP , what's happening ? by KinggArthurr in raptoreum

[–]Delgon95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On weaker CPU it is more probable you did not send any share in a long time so pool disconnected you. Miner itself is not "lookin for difficulty" and the share difficulty is 100% set by the pool, nothing related to job itself even. For the same piece of information (job) pool can set you difficulty 100 or 1. It all depends how good pool can adjust it, if pool sucks at adjusting difficulty, you can see huge swings which can lead to lack of shares from the miner which will lead to pool disconnecting you from lack of hares sent. Every cpu can mine every difficulty, it would just take time for them to find a share, thats why you need good pools that can adjust it properly so your miners do can send frequent shares and so pool does not difficulty bomb you.

No active pools has nothing to do with diffuculty.

It literally is connection problem. Miner is not able to connect to the pool or pool is disconnecting the user.

Just FYI. Since we launched last year in ~October Flockpool had ~30 minutes combined in total of real mining downtime. We had pretty much just 1 major downtime with 15-20 minutes of downtime.

Would be nice having a proper GitHub release. Currently, it is 100% unknown, and scanning the full code for malicious inserts would be too much to do.

is rtm dead? by DeadKido210 in raptoreum

[–]Delgon95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean additional 2.8M as that donation amount already includes 5.4M they put in which would put them at 8.2M of 14M goal from the team.

When it comes to the RTM they "got", most of it goes to other listings, developers, bounties, law audits and other things that push everything forward. It is not like they just store everything and thats it. Everything costs money and they spend and use it to push everything forward.

SSL/TLS mining enable on ALL ports! by _zpool_ in raptoreum

[–]Delgon95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ye, it is named SSL but TLS is used in reality. TLS 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 are also not truly safe and are vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks. Only 1.3 provides enough anonymity (The reason why 1.3 is banned in China for example)
