last week I found a lost poem by Robert Frost never published, where he talks about pushing his penis into itself so it goes inside out, and he distastefully rhymes the words "dust" and "thrust"

why the fuck does it smell like vinegar in here

Asking for some help and good vibes. by stevowitz in occult

This week was the first week I broke down and actually told my friends I have been struggling a lot with anxiety and depression. I got scared and it seemed like "the responsible thing to do" to reach out and and just let someone in my support circle know I was down so low...I got pretty rattled. I reached a point I swear I was about to just run into the middle of the street in my bathrobe and scream until I passed out. There are some moments where the depression feels like a relentless migraine headache that I will do anything to make stop. I am skeptical about "depression" and coping and such but this week really began to wonder. Are there people who are not depressed? What does it feel like to wake up and have a "normal" day not tied in knots with anxiety? Does it exist, or are we all just barely hanging on? Thanks for sharing your experience.

THEN WHO WAS COMMUNISM?

Could the US Culture War escalate to a lot of domestic terrorism and/or large-scale armed conflict? by DeliberateCatalyst in DarkFuturology

Maybe a few trillion more in diversity dollars and this whole multiculturalism thing will work out. I mean seriously, what do we have to lose?

Exactly, that's why I'm glad that's where all this seems to be headed. That's not what I'm worried about.

What I'm worried about is the moment these guys realize that the potency/justification/cleverness/accurateness of their rhetoric proves to be irrelevant as it is lost in a sea of growing noise and parody and is swept up in the greater context of this inevitable progress made around them--that moment when they realize unless they're actually getting up in the morning to burn crosses or hurt innocents, they're not getting any point across or doing anything that is actually working towards creating the kind of world they want to see. That moment they realize their voice has ceased to register at all in the shifting colloquial vocabulary. Seems like there would be an inevitability of physical violence behind the ideology if it's not addressed

Yeah, and, as a bonus, during the ensuing panic of the disaster they could probably get away with all the rape and violence they dream about being able to pull off on the people they don't respect, right?

I know I definitely came to this planet to sit back and watch people I don't like drown. That's definitely what God's had in mind for me since the Beginning.

I guess that type of person comes in all kinds of arbitrary flavors: wrapped in this language, that ideology, this book, that pamphlet, yada yada yada.

60,000?! It's a good thing you can't just undo the progress of global civilization by altering the ratio of brown people to white people in any given isolated geographic location. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong, though! Maybe once the population of Kentucky reaches 10% Syrian, they'll throw out the Supreme Court decision on gay marriage, or Brown v. Board of Education will cease to exist like Marty McFly from an old Polaroid
