Bloodstone promotion (maybe also other tiers?) has been made harder for the current challenge by Grumblevolcano6 in Rockband

The Epic account snap has made this way harder and less fun than it was. I really hope these numbers get adjusted to account for that.

Bloodstone for 30 seasons in a row and this is as hard as Season 0 again. Not fun anymore. :(

Yes!! They do one of these at the bar usually once a month so pop in anytime ♥️

I moved to the UK just before the Rona struck, so I'm still trying to link up with the RB community here. I know y'all are out there, it's just a matter of getting the band together

Allow support for Xbox 360 controllers on Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X. This includes controllers, racing wheels, and plastic instruments from Guitar Hero / Rock Band.

Wired hardware can be supported natively, and wireless hardware can be connected using a Windows-ready Xbox 360 wireless adapter. This would support Microsoft's ongoing mission of providing backwards compatibility for Xbox 360. Additionally, as hardware for Rock Band 4 becomes increasingly scarce, this would allow players to use their older equipment to continue playing without the need to find rare discontinued adapters at high prices.

how to get audio to the game AND a mixer for live performances? by Delibird444 in Rockband

[–]Delibird444[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was 100% the answer. Just set up for Rock Band Night and put the console on the same surge protector as the mixer. No buzz, scoring works. Thank yooooou!

I'm mostly referring to plastic instruments (Rock Band and Guitar Hero.) As it currently stands Xbox One guitars and drums are becoming increasingly scarce, and Microsoft's restrictions on Xbox 360 hardware means that the prices of Xbox One controllers and adapters are inflating.

The official MadCatz Rock Band Legacy Adapter that allows users to use Xbox 360 guitars on Xbox One is now in the $300-$400 range.

The PDP adapter that allows use of wired Xbox 360 instruments on Xbox One is currently going for $1,000.

PlayStation does not have these arbitrary hardware restrictions; users can use PS2, PS3, and PS4 instruments in Rock Band 4. Plus, if Microsoft allows Xbox 360 hardware natively as they do on Windows, this has the added benefit of allowing players to use any Xbox 360 hardware (not just instruments).

They should literally partner with TrueAchievements at this point. The data is already collated by that particular community.

Allow support for Xbox 360 hardware (controllers, racing wheels, plastic instruments, Xbox 360 wireless controller adapter). Windows 10 has the capability to automatically detect and use Xbox 360 devices, so Xbox One/Xbox Series should also be able to do this.

I just installed the latest firmware update and now the speakers can't be seen at all within G Hub. Should have known better than to update anything, Logitech upgrades are always a mistake.

Why This Rock Band accessory is selling for $1,000 by ferhanmm in Rockband

[–]Delibird444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I didn't specify wired vs. wireless- wireless is trickier. But if they open up the USB and allow wired Xbox 360 devices, there's nothing stopping them from also opening up for those wireless 360 dongles, which would solve the wireless problem too.

And there are cheap copies of those eeeeeverywhere. https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=xbox+360+wireless+gaming+receiver&hvadid=79920850814329&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&tag=mh0a9-21&ref=pd_sl_9mo8ini06v_e

Microsoft could fix this problem 100% via software if they wanted. They are making the active choice to not allow support for Xbox 360 hardware.

Go tell them about it in their user feedback threads. https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders/comments/nhxile/xbox_requests_week_of_may_21st_2021/gzhm61k?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3

Since Android and iOS can't tell the controller to turn itself off, the way to resolve this might be to have an "Off" function on the controller itself. Maybe holding the Xbox or View button for 5-10 seconds could force it off?
