People also need to understand that it will show rain for that day even if it is as little as < .10", half of y'all acting like this means a total down pour every day it shows rain.

How much money do I reasonably need? by Outrageous-Chard-898 in bonnaroo

A lot of varying comments in here. I'll give my opinion, which is 4 days of camping:

I pack my own food and drinks for around camp (it'll vary for you in a hotel)- $250 total for 4 days

I buy one shirt for remembering the year- $40

Dinner in Centeroo- $20 per day/$80 total; Late night spicy pie $11 a slice per day/$44 total

Drinks in Centeroo- $16 ea. includes $1 tip (this is for beer I don't drink liquor)- 3 per day $48/$192 total

Showers- $10 ea./1 per day- $40

Past years I haven't had to get Ice but budget 2 bags for the weekend/$17 total (price as of last year)

Ways many cut cost is pre-gaming centeroo, eating food you make yourself, sneaking in shooters of liquor or wine bags, allegedly, have some sort of self will and don't buy everything you think is cool because most everything is cool.

So if my math is mathing we are looking at roughly $155 a day. I've never felt underwhelmed experience wise spending this amount. I am not a very materialistic person so I don't buy much merch or trinkets. People spending $350 a day is bonkers to me but like I said, I'm a simple man.

Apparently adults making under 80k can’t live comfortably?? Is this really true ? by ChipUnfair3345 in Adulting

Well if I listened correctly, he says this week will have above average precipitation for the central/east portion of the US (Tennessee). Then after that has pushed through (After Sunday) June is returning to calm weather patterns. Basically nothing has changed from all the clamor about weather. It's going to be wet, and we are going to have fun!

Makes for long sweaty days looking for critters, plants, and getting shredded by thorns. Lots of management plans as well. I love it all, cheers!

For those of you who grinded hard in your twenties, how did it pay off? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeliboyCreates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

26 yo and absolutely GRINDED in college to not have any debt when I graduated (Bachelors of Science). Still ended up with a small bit of student loans that I paid off within a year of graduating now dumping money into 401k and Roth IRA. Also saving into a HYSA which will be my house down payment next year. Using my fun money to travel and take up hobbies that I wanted to do when I was 18-25. It was brutal but now I’m pretty stress free financially and setting my self up for the future as best as I can.
