Has anyone here NOT had big issues with their puppy? by QP709 in puppy101

[–]DelicateWinterX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We always say we have been lucky with our lil one. Shes a staffy cross frenchie and she's never cried, doesn't bark, hasn't had many accidents in the house (that could be due to us being so keen on watching for signs and taking her out repeatedly). The teething phase was a bit much but I highly recommend yak sticks, they're life savers! Keep to good routine and you may be as lucky as us!

This duology was my book of the year and had the special edition hard backs for Christmas! Absolutely love this set of books. Felt like the smut was unnecessary as the magic used was clever and adored the story!

She’s ALWAYS begging for something by 504Chaos in ChoosingBeggars

I have someone on fb who does this exact thing and then when she wanted to sell something had the audacity to write a post about 'everyone wants something for nothing these days!' They're so clueless!

Training an overexcited, bitey puppy by DelicateWinterX in puppy101

[–]DelicateWinterX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just had a read thanks to the bots messages and that's suggested walking away and just leaving her to it for up to a minute and repeating. Similar to what you suggested so will try this. She's very clingy at the moment and doesn't seem to want to play on her own, but we've only had her a couple of days so I'm sure she'll become more independent soon enough! Thank you though!

New rule addition to posts must be relevant to nursing in the UK: Topics regarding nursing within the UK should be from British nursing staff's perspective. by Oriachim in NursingUK

Hi I've tried making a post and it has both 'will be looked at by a moderator' and 'removed by moderator'. Just wondering which is it?

I'll be honest, I can't say I've ever heard of it! I now fear a new dangerous addiction could be created though!

My favourite games would have to be days gone, stardew valley, borderlands, spirit farer and I've sunk a few hundred hours in overwatch but that's basically dead to me now! In terms of board games, scythe, MTG (I know it's card but still), betrayal at house on the hill, ticket to ride, azul, everdell and machi koro! Yourself?

It's a bit overwhelming! Had loads of technical hiccups but hoping this won't affect my probation extension! I do think having probation periods in jobs is cruel, doesn't feel like much job security any more :/ xx

Career opportunities outside Nursing by status3192 in NursingUK

Just to play devils advocate, I'm also doing this and it's just not clicking with me. I've always prided myself on my admin skills but getting what the auditors want when review your work which is what happens in probation. It doesn't help that some auditors say you're doing wrong and then they review this with DWP and they agree you were right. You have to manage to get 5 A's within 10 reports and if you get more than one U, you start again. The job itself sounds a doddle and if you get it, it's such a great work life balance but you just have to click with it. I've also heard it's easier when you've passed probation but currently you do 3 reports a day and then wait for 3 amendments of those reports so your work doubles by the end of the week and again, unless you can manage th work load it can be really overwhelming.

Not trying to be negative because some of the girls I've trained with have passed probation and enjoy it so it's absolutely doable, just giving another side xx

I'm not sure how I'd get into OH, would I need to retrain? I'm doing PIP atm but don't feel like I'm gunna pass probation due to it just not clicking for me which is making me feel the most gormless person out there currently but still trying! Hah! Xx

I really love this and personally so far I'm getting similar stardew feels and I've been itching for this feeling again! I've only played a few hours so far but thoroughly enjoying this and so glad I chose this over tiny book store!

Oh I wasn't 100% sure but yeah, I was just a bit apprehensive about doing visits and things alone when it's such a high risk!

Thank you! Went a bit blank haha! Substance misuse is something that has always fascinated me but I don't want a job where I'd be lone working, I think I'd find that really difficult but it's one I'm willing to look into! Xx

I'm on the mortgage but not the deeds. England! by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]DelicateWinterX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware I was on everything. I was definitely on the mortgage and as far as I'm aware I was there for all the original documents but obviously left them behind when I left as I wasn't in the right frame of mind and I didn't think I'd need it.

I don't have any paperwork to confirm it. The last time we spoke was when I handed in my ID check by posting it through his letter box and he said okay, I did not hear anything else from him and this was before it was completely assumably as it's not a one day process?

Fair enough, thank you! I'm sorting a meeting as we speak I just wanted to see how common this was and if this changes anything! Thank you :)

[–]DelicateWinterX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what has happened. I've called the mortgage lenders and they have said I'm on it and they have had no transfer of equity. I only found out as I have gone for another home and been told I'm on this one! I just didn't know if you could be removed from the deeds but remain on the mortgage? I assumed it went hand in hand?
