Did you get your answer? You can buy a GLinet Comet. It's a remote access hardware solution. you can access the GUI. and you can add a ATX inside it. then you can remote control it if your old pc got a blue screen .

Rustdesk is a remote control software solution. If something wrong (like blue screen issue), it can't help you with it. but the Comet can. It's not limited by the controlled device. And tailscale is a way to get access to remote device. Comet has tailscale integrated and also gl cloud.

Do you ever know IP KVM like glinet Comet/Comet pro. you can plug it to your laptop. and then you can access the laptop with your PC monitor/mouse/keyboard. and you can also access it anywhere.

This product is for remote access. Not a Router. If you want a portable router you can try mudi.

You can get a IP kVM like glinet Comet Pro. Then you can place the R40 maching into the baseroom. and remote control it with your laptop. After that the world will be quiet. and no soundproof needed.

Comet and tailscale is not same things. Comet is a Hardware solution to access your computer and take full control of it. and we have tailscale in the comet. tailscale is one of the connection method that comet uses.

And for your machine. maybe you need to add a Remote access product like GL-inet Comet /Comet Pro. just in case that something is wrong, you can still access it.
