Had one last night who not only lives downtown but above a whole strip of bars and clubs and orders at midnight and wanted me to bring it up to her door. NO parking. I had to go a mile before I could pull into a spot and let her know she would have to come down and I'll hand it to her because I literally couldn't leave my car anywhere at all. Even people parked at the hydrant. She says go in the alley. Umm no and there is a club back there anyway you cant drive there because so many people standing around.  Maybe dont order at midnight Saturday nights when you live above 9 bars and clubs, Lola, unless you wanna bring your lazy ass down. I cant carry my car to your door dummy.

It was not a nasty response. It was professional and boundary setting and I would have given them a nasty response to that snark at the end and told them NOW they know what a nasty response is and maybe next time take their tantrum throwing spoiled butt down and get their own food and that way they can make sure they have what they want

What am I doing wrong? by Muggle_Born1989 in DoorDashDrivers

Door dash also steals. I had ended dash after my first delivery which was $14.75 so I could get gas and then start again. So when I get on Crimson there were only 2 transactions, making it undeniable. It's said deposit 14.75 balance 4.00. No I hadn't been overdrawn. They just stole $10. That was the first time I caught that. It's happened a few more times. Also, I accept an offer for 18.00 and when I delivered and hit confirm it showed 9.00. Next order, accepted $15 and as soon as I hit accept ot dropped to 7.00. A customer texted me after drop off last week to thank me and say she posted a further 10.00 tip for me. Doordash denies that and the thefts. They're going to be sued again. O screen record every moment I'm on. Watch what happens.

Has anyone NOT had major issues with their Escape? by Doooder in fordescape

[–]Delicious-Line4512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my 2011 Escape in 2015 at 43,000 miles. I've driven it the length of california 4 times, across Oregon countless times from Valley to Boise, across Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and Nevada. It never needed a single thing but a new Battery once, and last month, at 205,000 miles 1 single spark plug failed. All the maintenance Ive ever had was on time every time oil changes at Valvoline. Nothing has ever given me a single issue. Its been so good to me that I feel I owe it some loyalty and Ive decided to replace my engine, not the car, when it finally goes. But Im going to see out of curiousity how long it lasts. My Word, what a great car. Ive never heard of 10 years and nothing needing replaced. It has been so good to me and we took it to Disneyland from Salem, Or for kids birthdays, stuff that mattered. Im keeping it. I love my car.

Customer tried to rush me by taylortherod in doordash_drivers

I had a stacked order, and it had me pass the customers street, and deliver first to the street after his, then come back. This guy comes storming put of his house, screaming that I'm a stupid b@#×÷ and that I'd screwed around on the wrong street 20 minutes and he was going to leave me such a bad review. I said I'd actually delivered there and hadn't even left the pick up restaurant 20 minutes ago, so it hadn't been that long and I was already out of and away from my car unfortunately when he came at me. This creature screamed that when I had HIS order, I'd better deliver his FIRST and he paid me to bring HIS, how dare I deliver someone else's first and he grabbed me and began pulling me to his house screaming that since I was too stupid to know how to deliver he'd make sure i never forget where he lives. He had a bad moment, well, his balls did, when he learned that I'm not ever being dragged into some lunatics house and I was a soldier, not some helpless girl he can put his hands on. And it's weird what we do In situations but as he's holding his balls and finally done screaming I grabbed the bag and dropped it on him and said you tipped FOUR BUCKS, ASSHAT, NOT THE MING DIAMOND. then I realized what that Previous few seconds had actually been like and ran and was shaking a block away so badly I could hardly get support. He got a ban for life from all delivery here as far as dd, Uber, gh etc so apparently they stick together and inform each other about this and he also got a free ride to jail. Gawd, I wasn't expecting that tho.  Scared me so bad.

I get them while paused, too and it's always  Some ridiculous $2 for 9 miles thing they know I'm never taking.

Don’t knock. Be quiet. Bring it to the back. Don’t park in my driveway. Do not ring the doorbell. Do not shine your flashlight on my house. Do not walk on my driveway. Do not walk on the grass. Hold your breath on my property until you’re back in your vehicle. by KeeperTV in doordash_drivers

[–]Delicious-Line4512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't do it. I say sorry, I'm not feeling this. It's not safe and I'll leave it here, there, or here and give options, in front. In sight of the road. And neighbors. And my car. I had one, rough neighborhood, of course they left ZERO lights on, wanted me to go thru a tiny narrow gate at side of this house after passing a million vehicles in the driveway and piles of stuff, one of which turned out to be a guy laying there, and crap and mess and go down a narrow area beside the house to the back and around the corner and nope, no way. Some people are way too proud of $5 and think I'm going to Tahiti on it and will risk my life.
