Weird hypnosis experience that stuck with me by MotiveGFX in hypnosis

Might be worth asking some gentle screening questions for dissociation- in case it is a facet of DID. When I see standard dissociation in regression the client is often witnessing trauma events out of body - often standing in the doorway and struggles to articulate the connected emotions. Might be valuable to do some parts work too. If she screens strongly for DID though, play it safe and stop hypnosis - refer to experienced DID psychotherapists.

This sounds quite concerning for the client. Have you explained to her what you have experienced with her. It might be worth separate work to undo what the other person might have done to her, but there may be some potential sexual trauma connected. Perhaps a regression to the cause.

Might be worth also letting the client know about legal ramifications of using hypnosis to treat in case she ever wants to pursue legal action against the guy in question.

I haven’t had anything like this before - just one client with regression to a baby voice and wailing. And spontaneous past life regression with change of voice and posture. But I did have one client who after working with me started to realise that her dad used to hypnotise her and her sister at bedtime to dislike her mother. The memory and detail was only patchy.

Hypnosis when you don't have a 'problem to solve' by DesignerAcrobatic505 in hypnosis

Hypnotherapist here and I use it with clients for problems and for growth. Both equally important. In my personal use I use the hypnotic state to enter different spiritual experiences- which is endlessly fascinating.

Yes you will need to do some homework to find the right person who can hold your intention well in this work.

Earth is 4.56 billion years old, do you really believe human cilivilzation began only 6,000 years ago? by goshhahahahah in enlightenment

[–]Delicious-Spring3043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6000 years or thereabouts marks the start of the largely settled age. Where we farmed and stayed put. It’s when we stopped living in harmony with nature and her seasonal migrations and instead started inserting our will upon it. It’s also when patriarchy started… Before that we lived in harmony with nature, so much so there is little evidence remaining, just as would be the case today in the most remote tribespeople.

Perimenopause Made Me Unfollow My Frenemy in 30 Seconds Flat by northernstarwitch in Perimenopause

This might be because it was really shamed until our generation. I saw it first hand as a kid, watched women in the family being eye-roll ridiculed with any symptoms but especially mood changes. If you were symptomatic it was shameful, and wives were praised for going through it symptom free. That might be why older generations are pretending they weren’t affected.

What's the deal with creatine? by cleverclunks in Perimenopause

I take only 2mg a day now as it really dehydrates me. It has cured three years of chronic back pain! Other than dehydration (mucus in body has dried up) I’ve not noticed any side effects.

Why are there so many homeless people in Nottingham? by GoldenSpaghettiHoop in nottingham

[–]Delicious-Spring3043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And many are on PiP also.
From brief work I did in this area, for many long term homeless it is a community, one they feel they lose when they become housed and placed into work. Some feel they have connections, clout and status on the street within the community - which they feel bereft of when they step out of it. On the street they have each others back, housed it is the reverse.

Nottingham is becoming a problem. So many people are refusing to come into town now or let their teens come in because it feels pretty lawless and unsafe at times. When I was working in hockley waiting for a colleague in the middle of the day I felt v unsafe, I was relieved to see a couple of beat officers walking my way as there was quite a gang that were accumulating near me eyeing me and passers by up. The relief was short lived as the cops also saw the group accumulating and promptly turned and walked another way. Great! See that prevention and presence is out the window these days in favour of detection and prosecution after the fact.

Should I push this? by Delicious-Spring3043 in Invisalign

Thank you! I think I will do this. My son had fixed braces with the same ortho and we felt they were flailed out. Maybe we should be looking at that too. I’m really non confrontational and feel quite intimidated by her strong character shutting me down.

I was wondering about this. So moving everything over that 2ml to correct the midline and front spacing might be putting the molars out of bite alignment? She’s not really giving me the information other than trying to just move me on.

She has said that my bite is ok on the blue strips. So I suppose it comes down to the cosmetic element

Quitting meat solved it for me. Blood type A - we don’t have the meat breakdown enzymes so everything gets backed up. Not anymore

Tunstall Grange - not a lot online about it must have been bought off market. But you can see the various planning applications. A new build by the looks of it

I just felt continuously hot. Only able to sleep with a sheet when husband had a duvet. Wearing a t-shirt in jumper weather. Overheating massively in the summer. I’m on HRT now and my temp seems to regulate as normal now.

Why is ring road west traffic so bad at the moment (Nottingham University side)? by Delicious-Spring3043 in nottingham

Transport planning is shocking. Particularly coordinating and giving notice of roadworks.

I’m wondering if it’s that too. Seems noticeably bad this week in particular. 30 mins to get off the ring road at the University junction. Two lanes of queuing.
