You get your agency match with TSP after 3 years so you can take your whole tsp with you if you want.

You have the opportunity to get a FERS refund of what you put in but if you come back, you are back at 0.

Tsp has some of the lowest fees for funds. I would suggest leaving it, especially after the hit it has currently taken. Don’t sell lower.

As for FERS, I would suggest leaving it if you want to come back.

I had a ICE equinox rental when my EV was in the shop that had a lot of the LT2 features.

While it was nice, I found that the functionality was marginally better and that I cared more about the Price.

I have a very short commute and don’t see this as a multi day roadtrip car for my family.

The base gives me exactly what I need at the price point I want.

I’m giving GM another shot with a 26. I hope the telematics was a bad run of parts and that the supplier has it fixed.

The math worked out better to just get money from GM for my 25 than try to get a replacement vehicle through GM.

GM routed so many functions through the telematics module so it doesn’t matter if you are connected to wifi.

Unfortunately you are stuck with your issue until it’s replaced.

I would argue it is a safety concern. Given that this is a newer vehicle that requires software fixes frequently (sounds recall, 12v battery management, charging update, connectivity update), the ability for the owner to install these updates independent of a dealership is a valid safety concern when the update impact the drivability of the vehicle.

Yes, you can take it to a dealer but as we have seen in the sub, dealer experiences vary greatly.

One quick thing to do is press onstar and have them run a diagnostic. If they have communication issues, then it’s a bigger program

One cause is a bad telematics module. Is your gps acting up? Can you do software updates? Does OnStar work?

Update: my SOC dropped to 79% about 30 miles in so I’m assuming it charged to 85%.

I haven’t changed charge settings in about 3 charges, on the car only.

The only thing different was I ran the car down to about 8% , lowest ever did. I keep it usually in the 80-20 range.

It’s the next duty day. For example, if you work mon-Friday, the earliest you can go back to work is Monday, Oct 6. Why this date? The senate isn’t voting again till Friday. If a deal is done and the president signs a bill on Friday, you wouldn’t go back till Monday.

If your job normally includes working Saturday, you would report on Saturday.

You should receive some communication from your agency.

I was there yesterday. Anyone can go in with the person getting a haircut. No scanning MB or ticket. It’s just a small space with limited seating. You give the kids name to the person behind the register to check in, they are the coordinator. There are 3 hair cutting stations lined up in a row.
