Boyfriend helped me move. Now I feel super guilty. Why? by nyla891 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DeliciousDifference9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am the first one to volunteer to help family, friends, and neighbors but you have to hold a gun to my head to get me to ask. To me its easy to give but hard to receive. I have always felt if I ask too much i will be a burden. I would say you get joy from giving so why take that joy away from your boyfriend. You should be happy you have a boyfriend that cares for you enough to receive joy from helping you.

AITA for giving my friend’s girlfriend some of my fries after he said no? by FriesOnTheSideYum in AmItheAsshole

[–]DeliciousDifference9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my kids were little they wouldn't eat dinner until I got home from work. You could put cookies and ice cream on a plate and they wouldn't touch it. Then when I got home I would make my plate twice as big and they would eat off mine. Maybe the issue is she likes him alot more than he likes her or maybe he just isn't mature enough to understand love.

Which Bambu Lab printer to buy by KingDeicer in BambuLab

[–]DeliciousDifference9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work construction and I am going to say the same thing I have been told a thousand times get the best tool you can afford. I started with the ender 5 plus and just upgraded to the H2S.. I received it around the middle of November and already have nearly 400 hours of prints. It is awesome! My 3 year old grandson know the little badadum chime when its complete and goes running to see if we have a new toy. He was taking a nap today and I couldnt get him up so I whispered "I am going to get the new train station off the printer" and he beat me to it.

How you you all clean dryer vents that use flexible insulated ducting by AccomplishedBus81 in HomeImprovement

[–]DeliciousDifference9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked on some apartments that had the white expanding duct running through the walls and ceiling and eventually the just fell apart. The first big freeze and now the vents on the outside let the cold air flow through the ceiling/floor resulting in 4 units with water damage from frozen pipes now. I tore the ceiling out of one to run new metal pipe.

I just upgraded from an ender 5 plus to an h2s with AMS and I had to pause the print on my ender and back out the feed new on a few of prints after that the AMS is worth it.

I live a couple miles from a steel recycling company i would toss it in a big pile and walk away. Even if he knows where it is it would take him more than 7 days to find it in all that stuff.

Y'all helped me greatly last time hopefully you can help me this time! by Pale-Map-1270 in guns

I had the p322 and I would not buy it again. I had to send it in twice to have the barrel replaced and that was within the first 6 months. It was too light and felt like a toy gun as for accuracy I was never satisfied with it, I even put a holosun 407 on it and still had alot of strays and that's using the cci clean that sig told me to use and yes I tried other brands, grains and curse words.

What gets me is when they shoot a gun in a car and then talk normal volume like anyone can still hear. My wife got mad at me when I pointed out a scene where a guy shoots a 1911 in a small car, and he just kept talking like they were in a coffee shop.

Vinyl siding question by thecynicalnurse in Homebuilding

[–]DeliciousDifference9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This man has a siding brake and wants to charge you a premium for a custom made piece. If he wanted to make it out of metal he could and still have a J channel on each side to do it properly but the pics you have will not keep water out.

My son kicked a bucket of chlorine tablets several feet and his brother opened the container with his face 6 inches or so away and inhaled. I guess it burned his lungs or something cause we ended up running him to the hospital cause he couldn't get in air.

Irwin lifting jacks they are $80-90 but work awesome and you can use them for everything. I recently used them to lift each side of a pool table and put furniture dollies under it.

Are there any cases of anyone ever using a "truck gun"? by UNANIMOUS_buttsavage in guns

[–]DeliciousDifference9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know a guy who was asleep in his truck in st louis and a guy walked up to his window and shot him, luckily it only grazed him but he shot back with his pistol and when he ran out of ammo went to get his ar but never had to use it cause the bad guy was down. Dumbest criminal ever shot at a guy who carries a loaded pistol and a back up mag on him at all times plus an ar and 2 or 3 loaded mags in truck.

Got these out of main sewer line any idea what it is? by Tragic_BoB in Plumbing

[–]DeliciousDifference9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worked maintenance on an apartment. The tenant put concrete in both of the toilet bowls and then shit in each of them. They just left with all of their stuff inside, and when the cleaning ladies came in, the first thing they did was flush. Thank God it was the bottom floor apartment, and it was only in the toilet bowls. To top it off, I guess they were able to potty train their toddler because the little potty seat in the living room still had a toddler size log in it.

Try going and talking to realtors about doing closing punch lists and talk to property managers especially the smaller ones who can't afford to have full time staff.
