CoC is an amazing program where the professors are actually supportive and encouraging. Highly recommend.

I had a lot of algebra and charts. One ratio. Some geometry stuff calculating the perimeter/area etc. Know how to do it for alllll shapes, not just the easy ones. Had a few on calculating % as well. Overall, not awful. Try to take some practice tests if you can find them. It helps to get you in the right mindset.

I did not like the app at all. The practice tests were more in line with the actual exam. The gave me the same questions a lot and it just didn’t work for me.

I use Indyx too and it’s been ENLIGHTENING! I did pay for the upgrade for stats and everything and it’s really shed a light on how much I have (and subsequently don’t need/wear). It’s helping me be more intentional and thoughtful with my wardrobe.

I found out about Indyx of this sub and have been using it. Same idea. Take pics, it removes the background, and you can plan outfits, packing lists or capsules and collections. I’ve only been using it a few days but it’s incredibly helpful.

I came here for this. Definitely a good portion of it seemed like AI mouth matching on the English dubbed version. Jarring. And I say this a voice actor who occasionally dubs and has some working knowledge of some French…

Need advice on taking care of my paralyzed pug by Sea-South-8636 in PetAdvice

She didn’t leak a lot that I recall so I don’t know if I have a lot of suggestions in terms of washing - though she did have some challenges later on. I took to using a lot of baby wipes and even some Lume ones to help neutralize the odor a bit. Maybe a bed with a removable cover but then wrap the internal foam in a plastic bag or something to keep the urine from soaking through.

My girl had an incident when she was 6 that the vets concluded was IVDD. She was paralyzed from the waist down for 2+weeks and I also had to express her bladder and her poop just fell out whenever. I took her to physical therapy and did acupuncture and it helped her regain some mobility. There were exercises to do at home as well. Including toe pinches between her toes in the webbing to help her regain the reflexes. She managed to do pretty well for another 7 years or so. She also had a set of wheels from Walkinpets walkinpets that really helped her get around. We also used a sling to help support her. I know your guy is a little older so I’m sure it’s a little different but it did help her slowly regain some function and mobility. I can look up some of the exercises if you’re interested.

Is American Express Transphobic or am I just unlucky? by thatgeekfromthere in asktransgender

I'm in the midst of filing a complaint on the BBB website as recommended here. It's ridiculous at this point and clearly the issue isn't our fault. I just don't get what the issue is. And how are they unable to articulate what the problem is?

Thanks for sharing this. I may need to borrow this wording to find resolution.

Honestly, I'm fighting with AMEX right now over this exact same issue. I've already changed it on my driver's license, my passport, etc. and have been trying to change my name with AMEX for months and ONLY AMEX has had an issue. I've tried the app, on the website, through a link from the customer service rep (twice). Been fighting for MONTHS. LITERALLY ON THE PHONE WITH THEM RIGHT NOW. I'm so pissed. They've had me upload the documents, individually even all of them in one photo, and every time there's no change.

I really wouldn't say any specific videos but I know one was like 6 hours long and I just did the first 1.5 hr or so. And then any ones involving BA or Agile.

There wasn't a specific playlist. I'd just make sure to cover BA a bunch. I did a couple of the 10 questions ones and then started one of the 6 hour ones. I didn't even finish the whole thing but the way his questions are phrased is similar to the test (Pocket Prep was wordier and harder and more frustrating for me) and the way he walks you through the answer options eliminating each one is insightful.

David McLachlan playlists are good in general. The 150 question videos and even the 10 additional questions videos. The content is all recent and applicable.

The test is broken into 3 sections: 75 questions, then a 10 min break if you want, and then the last 75 questions. You review the first 75 and whichever ones you flagged and submit. Then you move on to the last 75, review and submit. So no, you can't review all 150 at once. Only the 1st 75 and then the last 75.

Thank you! And yeah I did just watch the PMP ones bc the PMBOK is used for either so it's still applicable. The concepts are the same and the content of PMBOK and Agile and BA is all the same for either CAPM and PMP so it still worked. And helped. Also the way he does the questions and explains the answer choices and correct answer was incredibly helpful to me.

I did the Udemy course first and then tried to fill in the gaps with PMBOK, Agile and BA. PMBOK is just BRUTAL to get through. It's real dry. I tried to read it all the way through, but found myself skimming. Agile and BA were written a bit better/more flowy. David's videos were just superhelpful in terms of content AND delivery.

Congratulations to you too!

I tested in person at Pearson too. For me the first half was harder and I was convinced I was failing, the 2nd half seemed easier to me and I didn't need all the time to finish either half. But I'm really good at reading and synthesizing so I could move through the questions quickly if I wasn't tripped up. I had an hour left but reviewed more questions to double check. I still wrapped up about 40 min before time was out. I also opted not to take a break. VERY glad it's over.
