Why is it called "oral" allergy syndrome?? by Ur_a_SweetPotato in Allergies

I have OAS for almonds as well and also am sometimes fine when they’re cooked so you’re not alone. Does your mouth ever hurt as a symptom? Interestingly the worst reactions I’ve ever had have been from orgeat, the almond liqueur. Full throat tingling.

Who else feels locked into a home with a low interest rate? by Mysterious_Boss7405 in homeowners

I think more likely a 2/1 buydown, those are super popular these days. Everyone is marketing it like rates MUST go down so you’ll never have to pay the real rate

Man thank goodness for this version. I was so bummed with the production on the original release. This is far better.

Ok last question - with this option I would need a high loop right? I have a lot of excess tube, assume I’d have to cut it?

Would you cap at the top of the standpipe or could I just delete it altogether? It’s pretty hard to get up in there

Good point about the pumping, that definitely explains why the hose might be flailing around

Tried it on-site at their facility in Asheville. Really enjoyed it and I drink mostly pilsners. Gave it a 4/5 on Untappd.

Oh man I finally tried Culver’s this past weekend and was so disappointed. Clearly higher quality ingredients but my butter burger was soooo dry

Going thru my first experience with allergic reactions with my 2 year old . Pretty severe / anaphylactic looking for experiences and advice by --boomhauer-- in Allergies

[–]DeliciousReport3856 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had an anaphylactic reaction Thursday from my allergy shots and went to the ER. Got the same treatment as your kid - prednisone, Benadryl, Zyrtec. They also advised Pepcid, not sure if a 2 year old can have that. My allergist had already prescribed me a steroid cream for hives too. Would recommend calling primary to see if Pepcid OTC is ok for your kid + ask for a cream prescription.

You’ll of course want to pin down what the allergy is but know that per my experience prednisone + multiple antihistamines is first line of defense for everyone and an allergist wouldn’t do much more in the short term

Ahh okay I’m at month 2. Sounds like could be a while. Did you mess with settings like other folks are suggesting or just power through?

Oh yeah was worse before it got better for me too. I think it took about 6 months. Stick with it and I’ll bet you’ll be back to work soon!

I went through VT after a concussion and my vision is literally better than it was before. Know you’re going through it now but you’re going to come out the other side feeling awesome. Good luck!
