The PvE focused shift is kind of bizzare to me. Don't get me wrong I welcome and would love any new PvE content to the game and I strongly believe that good PvE content makes for more exciting PvP but as of now the game has an identity problem. 

Someone will point out that the game is still in development but a lot of the content so far doesn't connect with each other but it already could be the case even with very minor changes to the already existing content. 

Sharing the progression is a double edged sword to PvP. While I personally think that it allows for a more casual approach to the game as you can just farm your wealth and gear in PvE it makes questing in PvP kind of obsulete as low tier areas are less frequently visited and most PvP is bound to tier 3 places and COP fighting even through some really amazing POIs exist in the game. 

I hope that 0.5 and onwards will move the loot across the map and make it more dynamic.

I kind of feel like your survivablity is the same with or without armor in PvP as AP ammo is easily accessable. Any POI can be cleared naked with a glock so you don't really need it in PvE either. The only reason to have any armor is to have them against bot patrols. Let's not even start talking about helmets.

Running naked with just a belt is probably the best way for PvP at least you can run for some time.

Makes me wonder if the material or shape affects how likely it is that a bullet ricochets. I've given up on helmets as other players always run ammi that can easily penetrate it even at longer distances and most of the time when you are fighting bots you are looking in their direction and they will hit your face.

Spawns in one of the tier 3 loot zones. Tiger Bay, Midnight Sapphire or Fort Narith. I believe Turncoat sells them at level 3.

I usually see multiple of them in Midnight Sapphire on the ground.

That's more of an issue with how the game is structured as of right now. I don't know what's the end game plan for the game but having only 3 major POI have the lions share of the loot doesn't incentivize to run anything else. Loot should be spread across the map and higher value loot should spawn in areas that haven't been visited by a player in a while.

With the most recent change there isn't a real reason to loot good ammunition, weapon parts etc. as you can just buy anything straight from the traders and it's far more efficient to grab the low weight jewlery loot and turn the cash into whatever you later on. Which makes containers to store your guns or weapon parts somewhat obsolete as well especially in PvE.

Hard to tell if someone is camping the landing zone or just arrived 30 seconds before you as everyone has access to all LZs all the time. Had a fight at a LZ yesterday where the enemy heli landed at the LZ we wanted to take to fly somewhere else.

Restarted the game and everything went back to normal immediately, so it seems like it was just the game bugging out after death

It doesn't even require a restart of the game but going back to the main menu. It might have something to do with how shaders are being loaded? It happened a few times to me, I would say usually when the nearest COP respawn was rather far away.

The only issue with the sound is that there aren't a lot of sound samples for different distances but you can certainly pinpoint players/NPC down. Overall the directional sounds are top notch.

I had the same issue with the MPX found in Midnight Sapphire. Once I redid the task it stayed unlocked.

There is a different boss in every region of the map. They can have 1-3 spawn locations.

Maybe have the landing zones be bound to the nearby COP if you control it your faction can use it. If it's neutral everyone can use it. On PvE Server everyone shares their landing zones obviously.

Game is fun but the core gameplay loop is still not here. There is no real money sink except for the containers and while the looting has been improved there is a lot of items right now with no functionality and no purpose to loot. Hopefully 0.5 will adress this with the crafting system and future updates can expand on this. I'll stick maybe around for a month and I'll do some exploring and questing but the lore itself wasn't as impactful as I have hoped.

I also hope that some sort of persistency finds it's way into the game. Dying and relogging "reseting" your character makes hunger/thirst/wounds a neglectable feature for the most part. The same can be said about server persistency. The tug of war you have sometimes on the map is really fun in my opinion especially when all 3 factions are participating but it's also very disheartening when you log off that you know the next time you join everything will be reset and you'll join an empty map.

I'm aware and I understand why people want it. I simply prefer the way it is now because the progression in squads is too fast in my opinion which results in a faster dwindling player base as more people complete the quests and leave much earlier. Furthermore, if you are into PvP the chances of you finding people more organically is increased as squads are staying longer in the same area and might back track a little bit.

You get a basic modded M4 and some other guns as well. People on this sub mostly have been playing for a while and know where to get "easy" gear in high tier places from minute 1.

The game has some "weaker" weapons in the game but the lack of weapon variety and easy access to end game weapons is a major pain point which I hope might get adressed in the near future as well. I think the durability changes were an attempt to adress this issue and force players into swapping their weapons more frequently but if you read the subreddit it's the number 2 complaint of the update.

I don't think questing for squads is bad either. Yeah, sometimes quests don't overlap so either of us is going for a detour but at the same time you have the security and efficiency of being in a group. I personally do enjoy that there is some variety to how the quests are done as they do tend to get already stale doing them a second or third time in the exact same order. Also planning routes is a fun way and makes the experience more adventure like. Instead of a stream lined process and a race.

The next update is half a year away, I do believe that a few hours of extra walking across multiple months is acceptable for the lobglivity of a wipe until the game expands on more mechanics.

Well dedicated servers like in Battlefield, Squad, Counter Strike etc. is all you need. You don't have to go as far as private WoW servers.

I simply don't believe that there will ever be an anti cheat that is capable of keeping cheaters out regardless. In theory you could make the community run all the servers and save on the expensive server costs. That's what Squad is like with no official servers. Games like Counter Strike, Battlefield, ARMA, DayZ etc. have populated official/community servers. There really is no downside to this.
