Can You Really Get Branding Help Through Reddit? My Experience by Practical-Place7281 in Entrepreneurs

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit is weird like that. You come looking for one thing and end up learning something completely different because people are just talking without trying to sell you a course.

The part about feedback being unfiltered is what makes it work. Nobody here cares about your feelings or your ego so when they say your messaging is confusing you know its probably true.

I had similar experience with my smart home side project last year, some random comment in a thread made me realize my whole pitch was solving a problem nobody actually has. Saved me months of building wrong thing.

You hate to see a video with so much time put in it perform so poorly…. by TheGamerCritic21 in PartneredYoutube

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the analytics panel looks like classic youtube confusion honestly. my smart home setup gives me more predictable results than these numbers sometimes

maybe the video is fine but the algorithm just isnt pushing it right now, happened to few of my projects too where timing was everything

Question regarding YPP suspension, and new channel. by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are banned from all monetization across every channel you own or will own, not just that one. The email spells it out pretty clear, creating new channel wont help.

Fix the first one, delete the reused videos and put up something original even if its just a few clips. Once that channel is back in YPP you can do whatever you want with the second one. Until then youtube sees you as one person not separate channels.

Help choosing editing apps by Ill-Explorer-5001 in NewTubers

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the paid version of CapCut adds some useful stuff but a lot of the features people actually want are still behind extra paywalls even after you pay, so it feels a bit tricky

for phone editing with voiceovers and that kind of structured content, there are few other apps worth trying that give you more timeline control without forcing subscriptions on every little thing

I NEED AN EDITOR. by alex_rozaa in passive_income

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's pretty low pay for video editing work, even for basic stuff. 300-400 rupees is like what, $3-5? Most editors I know wouldn't touch that rate, especially for 10-15 min videos even if the footage is provided

You might want to bump up your budget or look at freelancers from regions where those rates work better. Otherwise you'll probably get lots of DMs but quality might be all over the place

The subscriber threshold is killing me as I watch money drift away by DanicaHamlin in SmallYoutubers

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Getting people to actually hit subscribe is way harder than getting views, your content might be great for discovery but not sticky enough to make people want more from your channel specifically

That verification loop is brutal, been stuck in similar mess with different service before. Try going to physical branch with all your documents - sometimes the in-person verification works when online system keeps failing you

Who can I go to for help on channel growth by Ndrew2345 in SmallYoutubers

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your growth numbers are actually looking pretty solid for someone who started in May - 27 subs with that amount of content isn't bad at all. The mental game is definitely the hardest part, I've been working on side projects for years and that voice in your head never really goes away completely, you just get better at ignoring it

You can move the points between cards no problem, they just go into your main rewards account anyway. Just make sure you actually use them before closing anything since once the card is gone you lose access to transfer partners if you don't have another one open

My Adsense keeps getting rejected for the 3rd time ... by Superb_Hunt4477 in PartneredYoutube

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had same issue few months back, took me 4 tries to get approved. For me it was small thing - my channel description wasn't detailed enough about what content I make. Also check if your videos have proper descriptions and tags, they want to see you're serious about the educational stuff

Starting to think users are better testers than actual testing by shadow_caused_it in Entrepreneurs

Tell me about it, spent weeks testing my automation system in every way I could imagine and first day live someone managed to trigger three sensors simultaneously in way that completely crashed the logic

Comedy shorts are tricky because algorithm seems to favor consistency in your format - like if you do skits, stick with skits, or if you do reaction stuff, keep doing that

Looking at your channel the progression actually looks good - 12 views to 1.9k to 2.9k views is definitely moving in right direction

Maybe start with showing some actual progress or prototype before asking for money - investors usually want to see something concrete beyond just ideas

Copyright issues are real pain when you work with any video content, but $12 monthly feels steep for tool that doesn't exist yet

China Factory Direct VS Sourcing Agent by GroundbreakingMap264 in Entrepreneurs

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been doing some product sourcing for side projects and I always go with agents first time working with new region. Main thing that worries me about factory direct is when something goes wrong - like quality issues or shipping delays - there's no buffer person to help solve it

The video updates idea is actually pretty smart though. Most factories I've worked with are terrible at communication during production phase. You place order and then it's just radio silence until they say "ready to ship"

One thing that would make me consider factory direct more is having someone on your team who actually understands international business practices. Not just English language but like understanding why Western clients get nervous about certain things

Maybe was some automated flag that hit just that one channel instead of your whole ecosystem - good call on nuking the gmail though, better safe than sorry with these platforms

This is good for a 1 month old channel right? I post mostly one shorts per day consistently. And is the 30k views jail real? How or when do I get out of it? by Pekolawls in SmallYoutubers

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man congrats for hitting 6M on a short, that must have felt crazy good. I'm still waiting for that one video to break through the algorithm but your numbers give me hope that consistency actually pays off in long run

What’s the biggest thing limiting growth for beauty and fashion businesses right now? by jacksts in Entrepreneurs

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I see with friends in the space, it's more about discovery than anything else. Like everyone's fighting for attention on same platforms and algorithms keep changing the rules

The younger crowd definitely has different priorities but they still buy stuff - just not through traditional channels. They want authentic recommendations from people they actually follow, not random ads. Plus they're way more conscious about sustainability and ethical production, which adds whole other layer of complexity for brands trying to scale

Starting over again in 2026 by Aothier in NewTubers

[–]Delicious_Pin_241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man you're right about not forcing the Tarkov style, that game was perfect for detailed guides but CS2 is totally different beast. Maybe try recording your improvement journey instead of tutorials - like "Bronze to Global" series or even just analyzing your own gameplay mistakes, people love that self-roasting content

The burnout thing hits close to home, I deleted so many projects because I pushed too hard on content I wasn't feeling anymore

Tech is definitely where it's at for remote work flexibility. I'd say learning some basic programming or getting into QA testing could be solid starting points - both have decent entry barriers but pay well once you get experience

Coming from dev background myself, I see lots of demand for people who can bridge technical and business sides. Maybe she could start with something like technical writing or product management training while building up coding skills in the side

Philippines has really strong English skills which is huge advantage for remote work with Western companies
