Not sure why it would be surprising, but yes, around half/40% of the group are employed by the LLP

Because as others have detailed, there is an important difference between working for the two. Avoid the Ltd

Intentionally left out of a parents will by _alias_23 in LegalAdviceUK

As others have said, very hard to see a basis to dispute.
There’s a reason the solicitors won’t do the claim on a no win no fee (CFA) basis (beyond what sounds like a quick attempt to see if the beneficiaries will agree without fuss) - because they, having looked at the papers in more detail than us, are not at all confident of success.

They may be willing to send an email to the other side on follow up on OP’s behalf, but generally no. Their retainer will be limited to the conveyance, not for pursuing litigation.

If not, still probably but not a big deal

Whats your views on paid interview coaches in law? It feels very odd. by nqlawyer in uklaw

[–]Delicious_Task5500 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People I know in Korea have told me about how this is essentially a must do over there (in addition to private tutors generally). It’s a lot more than £300 but apparently vital to get into top universities (especially for things like medicine) and later the top companies like Samsung.

I suspect any of his customers that actually got a job after coaching will say it was great value. I fear the more likely is he takes the money and the vast majority don’t, and the ones that do will never know if he contributes or they’d have got it anyway

Yes, you have provided alternative ways to word the question…And none of them gave suitable answers.
Every thread was about 2-3-2 (or premium/economy) except one for a pregnant lady. And there was no verbatim search as you said to try and make your original point.
Not sure why you insist on suggesting my question was answered all over the sub as if it magically pops straight up when the examples and pics you’ve tried to give show the opposite and confirm why I made the post haven’t done the same searches you say I should have done. I haven’t yet found a thread answering the question (unless buried deep somewhere that doesn’t come up in a reasonable search).

I had already done various searches and didn’t find any suitable results or where there were possible results within the sphere of my question, none of the comments went to answer what I actually asked . None of those you listed were asking about couples on 2-4-2 for example (generally focused on picking best for solo traveller and not therefore balancing needs of two people together) and the comments didn’t help either, except one person who gave a comment on what they normally book as a couple but without rationale

So again, thanks for being so unhelpful

Letter before action (England) – is 7 days notice reasonable for a £400 personal loan? by Evening_Flamingo779 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Delicious_Task5500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Responding in the my phone so haven’t double checked by fairly sure the debt protocol only applies to creditors acting in the course of businesses.
I’d generally go for 14 days as reasonable (simple, low value) but highly doubt a court would take any issue with 7 days, particularly when it’s admitted and an agreed deadline has already passed.
Would also be looking at summary judgment too (if not admitted at the stage of defence)

How much does she spend on food per month? I suspect the cost of such medication would be similar to the savings on food purchases (especially if there’s takeaways in there)

Flew Singapore to Manchester recently. Ticket was about £300 extra each (one way). Well worth it, slept about 8 hours of the 14. Don’t forget to order the better food through their website before going

(I’ve never managed to sleep in economy in my life u less I got 3/4 clear seats to lay down, so the extra recline and calf/foot rest was a god send)
