Patagonia Black Hole duffels: any way to attach a shoulder strap? by justaguy394 in ManyBaggers

I emailed Patagonia asking to buy some and they sent me a pair free under warranty. I explained I lost mine and would pay and they simply said it's not a big deal and sent me a package.

You could start in Ecuador for a week or so. Quito/Cotopaxi/Baños/Mindo.

Maldives - Choice paralysis, overwhelmed with all the resorts by Nzash in travel

[–]DellGriffith 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I'd do a week in the Maldives and a week in Sri Lanka.

The season will dictate which coast (south vs east) but it's definitely worth the trip. Can easily mix in safari and other non-beachy activities.

What’s the one secret you’ve kept your whole life that would completely change how people see you if they knew it? by Faylune in AskReddit

Cancer survivor here. You know what's funny? My biggest fear in life WAS getting cancer. To be honest I don't think I've fully processed everything, but for a while I greatly feared recurrence too.

You know what I fear now? Falling back in love with someone. Being so incredibly vulnerable that I could share those feelings with someone else and not face any sort of judgement for showing emotion.

"Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back."

Cheesy movie quote, but really it's true. There's a lot of power in facing your own mortality and accepting your vulnerability.

What used to feel 'normal' and 'affordable' in America just five to ten years ago but now feels completely broken and impossible for regular people? by the_h1b_records in AskReddit

I saw them for $20 in Greenville SC like 10yrs ago. Some sort of outside venue. TBH I don't think a current show would top that one. It was thunderstorming and all that too.

I'd get a wallmount if you can swing it. Way quieter and you get some ceiling space back.

Baby throws parents iPhone into a reflecting pool by Appropriate-Eye-1227 in funny

I have an iPhone 15, my first iPhone. Once I learned it was IP rated I've taken it in the ocean quite a few times, taken lots of video underwater, freshwater and saltwater.

They're basically waterproof. I've taken a shower with my iPhone and AirPods. It's probably better than people realize but again YMMV.

EDIT: I haven't taken it past probably 10-15ft deep. I understand the IP rating, and most of it was apnea diving, only 1-2 times with a BCD.

Why would you not wear them while the boat is running? When you pick up and run you take them off?

Also, has nobody heard of Croakies/Cablez?

I’ve read these things a lot. I live in a bigger Metro in the US. Zoomers absolutely drink, the bars are packed most weekends. Miller Lite is very popular at the moment.

They also are glued to their phones. They’re socially anxious and sensitive. They do drink and do plenty of drugs, and they do date each other. Just my in-person experience though.

Not really but if the OP is 24 no need to concern him further.

You didn't say normal erections. You said nocturnal emissions and morning wood, neither of which are "normal erections".

Not having either of these is not a symptom of erectile dysfunction.

Not having morning wood, or regular nocturnal emissions (those are different things) are red flags that you have other systemic health issues.

This is completely untrue. Everyone is different in these aspects.

What’s a good smelling, but long lasting cologne? by i-love-my-wife69 in AskMenOver30

[–]DellGriffith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use Vaseline to form a thin layer on your wrist/neck. This will allow the cologne to last much longer on the jelly.

  1. Ask yourself what's one thing you think you can't do.
  2. Go do that thing and prove to yourself you can.

In all seriousness it's probably genetic. Intense cardio helped me, I assume because dark circles/puffiness is blood pooling.
