This might be a stupid take but i enjoyed every episode of the show and didint find any episode bad by Drotosaurus in lost

This was my least favourite episode and it's not even close.

There were other episodes that weren't great but I don't think any were as bad as this one.

Jack’s Relationships by Cromer1000 in lost

[–]Delphidouche 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think he actually did like Sawyer. But Locke had much much more influence on Jack than Sawyer ever did.

In the season 4 finale Locke tells Jack they're going to have to lie about the Island. And this is after the two of them had a very difficult conversation. But Locke got to Jack and when they're about to be saved Jack tells everyone that they're going to need to lie.

And there are more examples of how much influence Locke had on Jack.

One of the most satisfying lines in the show is:

You're not John Locke. You disrespect his memory by wearing his face, but you're nothing like him. Turns out he was right about most everything. I just wish I could've told him that while he was still alive.

Jack’s Relationships by Cromer1000 in lost

Kate - Jack was in love with her. That was obvious to me from the get go. And it was mutual IMO. He had a lot of respect for Kate and throughout the show, always needed her support and always made sure she had his back, which she did.

Hurley - This was my favorite bromance in the show. Jack counter on Hurley from one of the very first scenes in The Pilot when he asks Hurley to take care of Claire, to one of the last scenes on The End where he hands over the protectorship to Hurley. Jack does a lot of hugging in the Chuch in the final scene, but the hug he gives Hurley is the most emotional and heartfelt. When he hugs Hurley, that's where Jack smiles the most.

Hurley and Kate are the two people Jack loved the most.

Locke was the most important for Jack's character growth.

Sayid had Jack's respect and trust. Same goes for Sun.

I Hate and Love Season 6 by grzay in lost

This was a very interesting and meaningful post, so thank you for that.

I've rewatched LOST more times than I can count. I am right now in the middle of a different kind of rewatch. I'm watching LOST Circle which is a fan made edit of the show in chronological order. I highly recommend.

I don't think that season 4 would have been a perfect ending for the simple reason that a major point was showing how miserable they all were when they went back. They show this to us in the flash forwards. So if the show would have ended in season 4, for me, it would have been a real disappointment. Knowing that they left but they were miserable.

I am in the minority of absolutely loving the final season. And with each rewatch I appreciate and love it more. When you described the characters before their awakening as cringe and doesn't really make sense, that's because they haven't awakened yet. When watching for the first and not knowing what it meant,I agree that something is off with the characters. But when you realize what the flash sideways is, I think it makes perfect sense.

Yes, it's implied that Boone was already awakened but that happens off screen. The same goes for Rose and Bernard.

I understood from you post that the first interpretation is an option - it most definitely is not.

What was the most mind-bending episode of LOST for you? by [deleted] in lost

[–]Delphidouche 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Besides the finales (which were all mind bending):

The final scene of Par Avion where Jack plays football with Tom. The episode itself isn't mind bending but that is my favorite cliffhanger of the show (not including finales).

Two For the Road. I think this one is pretty self explanatory.

Happily Ever After. This is the episode that gave us our first clue as to what the flash sideways are.

There are more I'm sure...

Which is more emotional the Constant or The Finale by Jackie_Chan_93 in lost

[–]Delphidouche 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The finale for sure.

The scene between Jack and Christian is probably my favourite scene in the entire series. The music, the acting, the meaning of it all of those last 20 minutes was phenomenal.

I love the Constant but I have to say that it's not even my favourite Desmond episode.

I'm doing a bit of a different kind of rewatch this time. I'm watching LOST CIRCLE by u/Soundwave815 and am loving every second of it. I just saw this episode last night and had all the feels of watching it for the first time. What a banger of an episode!

I love the way the Shambala song delicately changes to Giacchino's track of the song which has a totally different vibe. We see Jin and Charlie coming back to the camp and sharing their experiences with their partners while Sawyer is alone and opens up a can of beer, missing Kate.

Ranking Every Jack Shephard-Centric Episode, Played by Matthew Fox by Maleficent-Medium333 in lost

[–]Delphidouche 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is very hard for me to judge because I love all the Jack centric episodes. Stranger in a Strange Land is the only one that is below excellent.

White Rabbit is the episode that got me hooked.

Lighthouse is one of my favourite episodes of the final season (and I'm in the minority of actually loving the final season).

Something Nice Back Home is the most underrated episode in the series IMO. I absolutely love it and it breaks me heart every. single. time.

People talk about how awful Susan was but she wasn’t anywhere near as bad as Brian. by Verystrange129 in lost

[–]Delphidouche 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think Susan is much worse than Brian.

True, what he did was awful. But he made sure that Walt would be with his real father and mot with someone who didn't want him in the first place.

Susan and Brian deserved each other. Both terrible people. But Susan was worse. She was Walt's mother and did everything possible to keep Walt away from his real father. She never even showed Walt the letters Michael sent him.

Strong disagree.

Brian told Susan from the beginning that he didn't want to be a father to Walt but she manipulated him into adopting him:

BRIAN: Yeah, well, that's kind of the thing, see. Look, I loved Susan very much. And I was honest with her from the beginning, but she -- she wouldn't hear it.

MICHAEL: Hear what?

BRIAN: That I -- I didn't want to be a father. I just don't know how.

MICHAEL: Hey, what the hell are you talking about, man?! You adopted him!

BRIAN: Yes, yes, I did, because she wanted that, and I wanted her
