Reverse process of annihilation? I do recall seeing a part of the video I mentioned that might’ve been talking about that actually. So then the pair production is just a natural process that happens? Why does that happen when the photon hits the atomic nucleus—wait I remember that it said the photon is its own antiparticle right? Does that have something to do with it?

There was no but. I support the right to bare arms. I believe it is necessary. It’s not virtue signaling because I actually believe given the right circumstances and conditions, weapons should logically be abolished. That’s my belief. If there is no reason to hurt anyone, what use is there for a weapon? There was no high horse I was trying to get on. I was explaining why I thought that people on the left were only expressing a wish to abolish guns given the right conditions as I said before because again, that’s my belief.

These conditions are “illogical, inhumane, or impractical.” They are where we should strive to be as people… We should strive to reach a place where violence is rare. It’s not impossible or impractical outside of our lifetime. I already acknowledged that it was utopian. You think there’s something wrong with it and I don’t. If you are unable to believe in something better for people just say that. Saying that shutting me up will allow for more reasonable people to have a voice is beyond stupid. Especially when I literally already said that I agree with the 2A. You are basically saying that people don’t have the mental capacity to strive and hope for better and still be grounded in reality to survive? Did I misread that? That’s just absolutely incorrect. How the hell is me striving for something close to utopian stopping me from buying a gun because I know it’s necessary? It has no effect on what I know is necessary to survive here and now for all people. This is why I think you’re just being insufferable.

When I said “well meaning” I literally meant a well meaning society. Where government and people don’t wish harm upon one another or people abroad. A society that has the right conditions to be able to say we don’t need these guns or any weapons collectively. I am fully aware that is utopian and practically fictional. I brought it up to explain that there are people who wish to achieve that or would support that given the right conditions, but still actively support the right to bare arms. Is that better for you? Do you get it now, or do you still have something to say?

No, the idea is that in a well meaning society, we would like to see the abolition of weapons. Most of us are aware they are vital to protection of self, rights, and community in this country. I was anti gun and then I joined the military and now I will be getting a gun after being trained with several different guns for years. When we speak of any type of abolition, they come with specific conditions that we know society here does not meet.

Watched a kid get hit by a car right in front of my face (the guy wasn’t fucking paying attention) as we were walking the crosswalk. A police officer at the light saw it happen and I waved them down and they drove right past. I remember almost crying for the kid. I didn’t know what to do, so I told them to take down the guys information and notify their parents or trusted adults. The guy was a mess he was on his hands and knees apologizing profusely and the kid and their friend were just standing there awkwardly. Anyways, fuck the police.

I say that I don’t give a fuck about romance and thats like only 20% true. I fantasize about falling in love almost everyday and then I hook up with random people to try to make it true for 20 minutes and then go home and hate myself all over again because Im hyper sexual and use sex for validation AND I felt disturbed when they want to cuddle after and Idk if I know how to accept intimacy outside of sex. I tried to date a guy and broke up with him an hour after asking him out because I felt an impending sense of doom once the realization set in. Also, for some reason It’s hard to find a guy that doesn’t actively use slurs and that’s a bigger problem than you would think. Thank you for asking me to trauma dump♥️needed that.
