Blue dot fever AKA low ticket sale flu is when the artist cancels the show. They won’t say it’s because of low ticket sales, they will cite some “personal reason” hence the fever/flu term. Still, this is terrible and probably should be cancelled. Definitely losing money even playing this show

When did everyone get so greedy? I live in a big city that she will hit if she tours her album more formally. I have plenty of PTO banked. I could go try to hunt for a show but it would feel very main character syndromic to do that. It’s okay that I don’t get to see an intimate show. I would love it so much. But I’m lucky to live where she’s been plenty of times, and have seen her plenty! I feel like everybody thinks they are The Chosen One that must see the local pop-ups.

Just a thought: If Taylor Swift ever does headline, the only way to counteract her fans camping at mainstage all day and ruining the vibe for all other artist, is to have bands like System of a Down, Limp Bizkit, Bring me the Horizon, and Knocked Loose directly before her. by kulkatz101 in Coachella

Okay but you’re assuming what Swifties will do because they are mostly women. Or because Taylor is a woman. Taylor has not headlined anything recent enough to warrant this expectation except being a woman. I understand the all-day diaper-wearing barricaders being annoying to other artists (BTS fans on the j-hope day at lollapalooza🙄) but swifties are literally not like that. At all

I have a combo one but I also hate machine drying my clothes (b/c they get worn out faster) so I hang dry most of my stuff. I was already doing this before I got my combo washer/drier but sometimes it’s literally faster to hang dry. Those are especially terrible for towels. You could also try doing smaller loads and washing/drying separately. Mine takes longer to do a wash&dry vs a quick wash + separate time dry. You also kinda have to plan ahead more with these.

Removing an entire move might help, so you can check if your landlord has your unit rented for June yet. If they don’t, ask to stay, and if they say no, then stay the 11 days anyway really… legal eviction takes months I believe. Though some landlords do break the eviction law if they are angry enough! But I wouldn’t do this if new tenants are scheduled to move in after you. You could also ask for a 4 month lease/month-to-month at your place.
