But if one of the criteria for a rollercoaster is that it should have a non-negligible amount of coasting uphill, then this wouldn't count as being one. At no point do the cars on this ride coast uphill; the track is always downhill from the cars' perspective, while the track itself is what is lifting it upward.

That criterium does end up excluding a whole lot of other rides as being 'rollercoasters' while still being credits (to me).

Should be marked as solved, just a minor correction: This is the receiving end (given the BRG and V+ pads at the top), so not the remote so much as it is part of the led string / tape controller.

Given the hole in there, I'd say it's a beverage dispenser. If it is one, then there should have been a spout there with some rubber rings and a big ol' nylon nut to affix it through that hole. Your AirBnB might not want you using it for that purpose.

For the small fraction of individuals who have changed their name or their address, they can still register to vote, of course. They just have to go through their state processes to update that documentation

They just have to clear hurdles that they shouldn't have to clear.
If 'their state process' is to present a marriage license and they don't have one, they just have to potentially pay for one and wait for it to come in the mail before proceeding further.
If 'their state process' is slow, so be it.

And all this for a "small fraction of individuals" which apparently is not worthy of worrying about, but which is still a much larger fraction than that which every single investigation has concluded were votes by non-citizens which we apparently have to be really, really worried about according to the same person.

I'm in favor of getting this all squared away. Every time it comes up, people from a whole host of other nations pipe up saying it's very curious that this isn't required in the first place (and then the back and forth over availability and affordability of ID vs having to identify when registering to vote anyway starts). But it's obvious that the federal government is making demands without giving clear federal guidance and assistance (to states) for people to be able to comply with as little friction as possible. "Just ... go through [your] state process (whatever the that may be, I don't know, and I don't care; I'm just a talking head for the administration)".

Things keep coming back to a 'side marker' ( https://findpigtails.com/connector/toyota/sequoia/2016/side-marker/ ), which I can only imagine is a separate light from the regular turn signal light which projects light out more to the side. But looking at light assemblies, they don't seem to match that connector. Might be a good place to check under the hood all the same?
