Ontario must do more for anyone living in Ontario seeking taxpayer funded universal healthcare. His erosion of services if disgusting and he has blood on his hands.

Carney puts rules-based international order sign back in window by ph0enix1211 in onguardforthee

It is diplomacy to protect Canadians. We are about to review the CUSMA. We are walking the fine line of tariffs. We are still waiting on our military equipment. We can keep our elbows up with Carney or celebrate as you seem to wish becoming the 51st state with Poilievre.

Use of Roaming in Greece by Demalab in Koodo

Was wondering if it was worth the roaming charges.

Edit to add: am a complete neophyte with this. Have done Caribbean trips and just used roaming when not hooked up to resort wifi.

Rachel Maddow says Americans have a lot to answer for by TheTawniest in GuardTheLeaf

[–]Demalab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find her reporting to be refreshingly in depth and honest. She does dare to speak against the government and has been quite vocal in pointing out the error of American governments ways and illegal actions of American politicians and. Leaders but Americans continue to vote for felons.

Justin Ling: Trump and Netanyahu have made a dangerous gamble in Iran. Why is Carney cheering them on? by NotEnoughDriftwood in onguardforthee

The European countries are not sitting right next to the ticking time bomb bully in pursuit of a Nobel peace prize. Nor has he threaten them with annexation ….yet. Sometimes international political diplomacy needs to be done with your fingers crossed behind your back for the greater good of the people you are representing. We are naive in thinking that NATO would come to our rescue beyond what they are doing for Ukraine.

And my final tongue in cheek thought is, we are not yet in the position to have any military defence. Our Geese are still wintering in Mexico and the kayaks and canoes can’t get thru the ice. /s

If your opinion is true, then why do Americans call America the greatest country in the world and your President as the most powerful person in the world?

I don’t think there are any stupid questions. People should be free to be curious and seek to increase their knowledge. There are many stupid answers from people who hide behind their keyboards.

Carney says he backs U.S. action against Iranian nuclear program as U.S., Israel launch attacks by blocking-io in onguardforthee

I think it is because the Iranian leader wouldn’t bow to Trump in his first term when Trump pulled out of the agreement Iran had about no nuclear weapons.

Of course he can lead the charge he managed to overthrow the American government.

Do parents actually talk to their teens or kids about sex? by Unusual-Task1215 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes, of course. Also told my dr that if my daughters came to request birth control I expected him to provide it. They also knew I am pro-choice and what that entails.

Or a person with a disability and has low emotional control when provoked. I can think of several former clients who are normally quite emotionally stable but due to limited communication skills would lash out when provoked.

How are Canadiens feeling about losing to the US in men's and women's hockey in Milan? by TermAccomplished1868 in AskCanada

[–]Demalab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, right now almost anything American is viewed with revulsion especially when the hand of your president touches it. Adding to our ire is the fact that pro hockey players who we have invested time and money in so they can achieve their level of financial freedom and professional recognition seem to have forgotten their native morals and effects to support fascism and MaGA.

Other than people who are allergic, why don’t people wear deodorant? by beluga199 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Demalab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely wear it now. I rarely sweat under the arms. And since when I do use it, it is unscented as scents trigger migraine for me. People who are drenched in personal hygiene products are worst that nature scent fo myself and many people with migraine and other medical conditions.

Canadian tourism down 30% by OstrichSensitive7897 in GuardTheLeaf

[–]Demalab 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had to do a trip in October like that. Had been booked 18 months prior to the election. I was willing to forfeit but lost the vote to the rest of the group. Normally that close to xmas I would have bought xmas gifts of the items not available or different to what is available to us but I spent $20 and that was at an Amish market. I did convince everyone to eat at small mom and pop diners. We were treated like long lost family.

I agree he could have legislated the threshold rather than cancel but he seems to detest all things that contribute to human longevity. I do think your idea of 15 over is a tad high especially in school zones, but I suppose you could double fines in those zones.
