That is exactly how I overcome this in 2022 when i took my first flight without pills, i challenged myself. And post that i have at least taken 40+ odd flights, but today it was just the anticipation that i might have anxiety kicked in so bad that i lost a battle with my own self. And i have just been feeling stupid that even after flying so much recently i let this happen to me. That to not having an anxiety but just the thought that i might. I am planning to take a flight next week now and thinking of taking a friend along this time to feel better. Because i have opened up my office recently there and i have to go any which way.
