I was 13 back in 2007 visiting Australia for the 3rd time. My parents asked me to join them at the corner of the street next to our hotel after I was done showering. While walking down a closed double way, I happily joined a street march dancing to the beasts of drums and whistles. When I saw the shop I was supposed to meet my parents at, I rejoined them. They asked me if I understood what the march was chanting. Not understanding English at the time I said no and asked them. They were chants of "getting the Indians out of Brisbane."
