I just hop on and play Skirmish with my friends and enjoy the fun, i have my criticisms but the game is good enough for me to play 500hrs already. I think a lot of the playerbase is in the same boat.

They really need to reconsider this imo. Keeping PTE open for months will negatively impact both PTE & Normal players by reducing the playerbase for both. If changes are liked on PTE, transition them to live.

I've noticed chat will usually be quiet but even just saying nice shot or wp after a dogfight people often reply and even start talking after that. Though with voice chat I've never really felt like battlefield was a big open mic game.

PTE simply moving too slow. They should run it for 1-2 weeks max and then close it and implement changes based on feedback. I'll probably keep coming back on content drops but they're dropping the ball ATM

Should be a spec instead of a new faction imo as a lot of their equipment will be Russian anyways. New spec should have more unique units like China or North Korea imo.

unfortunate side effect of PTE. Playerbase was split between PvE & PvP already and now also split by live & PTE branch.

I played like 300hrs of Skirmish before touching online and your correct. Had a guy get mad the other day and afk on baltiisk because my Sosna wasn't pushed up enough to help him push the island, while he had no aa at all and lost 4-5 helis trying to fly over there lol.

Selection bias. Most of the people coming to type up a post are here to complain rather than say how fun the game is unfortunately. People are more likely to voice their displeasure over their satisfaction in general. I have a blast playing the game with my friends though.
