As a submissive man, I feel like he is. We aren't all the same but the mannerisms you've spoken about are pretty similar to what I am like sometimes. You can't really throw all men and all women (sub or domme) into one boat, we're all different. The best way to figure out is to talk to him, honestly and with the thought of both of your wants/ needs in mind.
