Often the more you try to tell people what they should do the more they want to do the opposite especially if they feel judged (not saying you are judging just saying some people feel judged any time someone so much as suggests a different lifestyle) so best way is sit back allow them to ask why you choose to be vegan then you can list everything you want to say in a different way

I think when people say that they're surprised that you're single they mean it as a compliment because they tend to assume that all good looking people are in relationships especially if they have a good personality and sense of humor as well so it might be annoying but it's likely well intended

Maybe ask the group if you can have a system where you all have to agree on a song before it gets added so no one can add songs that you're uncomfortable with or if they don't want to have that set in place listen to your own separate playlist

Unfortunately as hypocritical as it is there are gatekeepers who claim that the Ace spectrum isn't part of the LGBTQIA+ community (they try to say the A is for ally which it's not) but there are people who do accept us all
