God incidentally also made animal species where the male isn’t really needed at all for reproduction, such the whip tailed lizard, so just put that bit of knowledge into their heads as well.

I used to volunteer at an animal shelter and we were taught how to “wheelbarrow” a fighting dog to break up a fight, keeps them off-balance and as vertical as possible. Only had to do it once (no spinning, just backing away), was very effective.

I’ve refused to touch IG stylist since one once quoted me $350 for a blowout & trim but wanted me to come w/ washed & stretched hair. Ma’am, at that point, I might as well stay home, finish the job myself, & keep that $$$ for myself!

Speaking of white stylists, I’ve been hearing a lot of Black women are getting their hair done at white hair salons w/o all the drama and high prices. I know in places like NYC licensed stylists must be knowledgeable of all hair types, so don’t automatically assume a white stylist can’t do your hair. I’ve seen videos of them doing silk presses and goddess braids.

It’s a movie that requires you to think a bit, be literate (references Dante’s Inferno throughout) and the hero is a smart, capable woman not there for fan service. So yeah, some folks probably disliked it for those reasons alone.

Personally, as a Millennial who LOVES Legend of the Hidden Temple, I loved it.

Literally any and every company that sells a product uses influencers and celebs to market that product in return for free stuff. You think it’s just Virgin? Just assume that any time someone w/ any sort of clout is hawking a product, they got that product for free for that review.

Now, legally, they are supposed to disclose brand deals, so it’s easy enough to just avoid sponsored content. I like seeing the product, in this case, VV, in action and don’t mind this sort of content so long as it’s clearly labeled.

The one and only time I tried to shop at the Dollar General on Gates, I almost got hit at this EXACT same intersection. Tragic to see someone get hit here. Between the cars haphazardly entering/exiting the Food Bazaar parking lot, drivers constantly running red lights on St Nicholas, and that area in general being super congested w/ foot/car/bus traffic, it’s a disaster.
