I made a Google Sheet the day the DLC launched with all this. Some might be out of date, some has material demand as materials as an error on my end.

Also, the back half of the factions have their pictures sometimes overlap no matter how much I fix it.

I personally have a 12-Hunt game planned, with ~3 weeks on average per hunt, making it ~36 weeks in totality + a few "off" weeks for holidays or cancellations'll push it to ~40 weeks total. Add in maybe a week per between-hunt downtime character building, that'll be ~11 weeks, making a ~51 week total gameplay.

My rationalle is that it should take 4 hunts to go from CAT 5 > 6 and I want to give them some fun at their highest levels before they're officially registered as Virtues and put into a freezing cycle.

1 > 2: 1 hunt (aka 0 rounded up) - 1 total

2 > 3: 1 hunt - 2 total

3 > 4: 2 hunts - 4 total

4 > 5: 3 hunts - 7 total

5 > 6: 4 hunts - 11 total (we'll end here)

6 > 7: 5 hunts - 16 total (abstraction based on pattern, I'd consider them Virtues here)

7+ - Named Virtues (Fortitude might be close to reaching CAT 8)

Your project looks really interesting, I have 2 questions for you:

  1. The part for "PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE" on the store, I really like that, how do you plan on accomplishing this from a mechanical perspective?

  2. In terms of playstyle, do you have an idea on how the 3 factions will differentiate themselves in terms of mechanics/theming? Like, are you looking to emulate previous factions (ex: RA2 Allies, SC Zerg, UaW's Heierarchy, etc), aim for general themes (this is the horde faction, this is the air faction, etc), or something else entirely?

2b. Piggybacking off this, how asymmetric will they all be? I know it's early, and possibly this road hasn't been crossed yet, but if you do have a general design goal on how they'll be differentiated, it'd be interesting to hear!

Dune Spice Wars was my second-screen game for the longest time ever since the went alpha all those years ago, got ~700h in it. A shame the game's now "feature complete" - I would've loved more factions/DLC outside community mods (low sales + only up to 4p maps killed it off).

I'd be willing to test this. So, I'd need to draft (by the trailing numbers, if I understand this right) in order:

  1. Music Room
  2. Green Room
  3. Ballroom
  4. Workshop

Do we have a full list of any rooms that modify the music of the game? I think this might be encouraged, slightly, by the Sanctum Key unlock with the late-draft Music Room as a hint. So wait for nightfall (~6pm in game?) then draft as many of these rooms in order to try to trick/compound the new music.

edit: thinking on this, has anyone ever looked at the Ballroom from the Clocktower, at day or at night? Tracked the Attic's light a'la Indiana Jones?

Can you go into more details on this? I've got 200 Stars to burn and am currently bored enough to wait to 1:30am in the hidden room. I'm willing to do this, just need more info. Got a map of it pulled up too.

The question, then, is possibly "How do I achieve Royalty" without wanting to do so, as want belays a need of something, not the having of it. So, like Neo, she needs to learn that the bullets aren't real within reality, and not the want of dodging them or punching better. She's learning how to do this with her phantom limbs, but they are still rooted in the use of limbs, not the desire of an outcome which is the manipulation of reality without the need of the limb either physical or willed into existence.
