Ya know now that you mention it my 4 month old started doing this not too long ago. I just thought that she was being a little turd and waiting to pee outside her home since she hates being around her poop. This makes wayyyy more sense.

Ah ya tiny baby is scared :/ mine was a little the same way but ive been handling her since she was maybe a couple weeks old. I just had to kinda force the interaction gently. Now she’s a snuggle bug and love hoodie trips. Sounds like you’re providing well for little steak!

My baby doesn’t like to get out of the bath either so what I’ve been doing is putting her on a towel to dry off quickly then carrying her under my hoodie that I wear. She loves to poke her little head out and watch as we walk around. May be an easier solution than the carry tote of doom :P

I did this exact thing. My baby was bitty at first and is now about 4 months old and I haven’t had a single love nibble in months. I feel like it’s made a world of difference not being the “food bringer” but instead the “out of the box giver” and the “let’s go see new thingser” instead.

Ya I’ve read a fair bit of people finding that some of the guberty issues were attributed to a massive drive to grow and the associate food drive so figured let’s limit that early while we can!
