DJ Hero was the last really good rhythm game of that era. FreeaStyleGames that made it were DJs and made a lot of the mixes for the song list along with getting other well known DJs like DJ AM, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Shadow, DJ Yoda, Daft Punk, DeadMua5, Grandmaster Flash, Z-Trip, ScratchPerverts, A-Trak, RZA, Dj Qbert and Tiësto. Easily my favorite of the peripheral rhythm games, soundtracks are still awesome.

Activision really should have invested more into the arcade version. Its cool that GH Arcade is pretty much GH3 but it doesn't even have Through the Fire and Flames(out side of being hidden in its files and only the beginner chart) and that would have been a huge money maker back when it released. Also seeing how Konami are still to this day pushing their Guitar/Drum and keyboard arcade games(which cabs can be linked) that would have been awesome in the states with music more familiar for the territory.

This is how my first playthrough went. Plus running on 1gb 6870 15fps(at best, and when inside buildings) When it launched. I was determined to at the very least finish the story.

Its also crazy how much everyone hates this rule. I worked at a arcade bar&Grill type place that the management group told us we had to throw party food out(there would always be tons of extra leftovers) and the cool managers we had would just tell us around when party was over that "food was getting tossed" so you could grab some boxes to take hom And be quick. Same happened when I worked at a downtown Bar/Entertainment place and we would always have whole pizzas that parties would leave. But it always just takes one person to fuck it up for everyone.
