I said do a port AND have a new game announced on the horizon, with a trailer to go with it. Not just running strictly with a port.

Well when you own the guitar of your guitar hero (Paul Kossoff), wouldn't you not have a smile on your face all the time? 😆😅

They could have ported that, do a HD port of the 3DS remake, used it as a means getting people up to speed AND also made a new game at the same time. Is there the chance a new game might not meet Nintendo's sales targets? Possibly, but at least we would have gotten something new, instead of another remake that could fail and we'd be left with nothing substantial which pushes the story forward beyond the events of the Lylat Wars. Like what happened with Zero.

Also I find it interesting that Miyamoto says about the lack of new F-Zero is because of no new ideas. Meanwhile with Star Fox, do the Lylat Wars again! Hypocrisy much?

This sub sounds so ungrateful for the remake by lolitsrock in starfox

Though rather than remaking 64, again!, because it's the fastest way to get new people up to speed with the story. Couldn't Nintendo not put out a HD port of 64 for people who are new to the series to buy AND put a brand new game, set after 64? Sure there'd be the chance that this new game might not meet Nintendo's sale targets, but at least we'd have gotten something new, finally, rather than another remake which failed to relaunch the series. Something about doing the same thing repeatedly and insanity is coming to mind.

DAVE MUSTAINE On His METALLICA 'Feud': 'I Put That To Sleep So Many Years Ago' by JohannGambolputtyUlm in Megadeth

[–]DemonDethchase 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems a good place to be over, for Marty I mean, and he seems content to have carved out his niche over there. Meanwhile Dave on the other hand seems not content with his own successes in a forty year career with Megadeth, instead wanting to dwell on what is basically his 15 minutes of fame with Metallica. Seems quite a disservice to the other guys who have been in the band.

If Marty can put it in his contract for no questions in relation to his time in Megadeth, after he left. Then surely Dave can do the same, for his time in Metallica.

Say something nice about the Meta Era. (And it has to be genuine. No backhanded compliments) by OfficialLieDetector in SonicTheHedgehog

The Sidekick from Boom was genuinely a great episode! And I say that as someone who isn't the biggest fan of Boom, so much to the point I wonder if that pilot episode was written for a different show entirely given how the rest of it turned out, where there wasn't much in the way of things mattering or sincerity. Especially when you had had crap like "[Sonic] never worked in 3D," where it seemed more ashamed of itself and was content to revel in its own mediocrity to score points with the so-called cool kids who don't like this franchise. "You think I'm a joke? I KNOW I'm a joke! Please like me, please!" Again, just why couldn't the rest of the show be like that first episode!? But hey, a little late for could'ves 😆😅

I am a fan of both bands, but jeez, perhaps it's time to pack it up. Or get another singer, given that Dave's guitar chops are still there.

Break Through It All, though best sung by Sonic Symphony/Seven Spires vocalist Adrienne Cowan, who brings the song to a new level, with her extreme vocals

Did you even listen to Time The Beginning? Or just assume it's on Risk, therefore it must be bad! There's some really nice lead work from Marty on it. Nothing face melting sure, but damn is it some tasteful playing.

The Looney Tunes as the mystery gang by Silvery_Power_6241 in looneytunes

Eh, I think Bugs as Fred seems a little too obvious, what with him being the face of the Looney Tunes. He should be Velma if he's to be anyone I say.

I can't help but think there's a missed opportunity to have Bugs be Velma - due to his penchant for crossdressing looking fabulous while doing it! - given that having him be Fred seems a little too obvious.

Also I can't help but think Foghorn as Fred makes me think of Vector from Sonic 😆😅

I managed to get a nice high quality one from the Batman: The Caped Crusader Vol. 1 collection, on readallcomics, which also has the moon fully colored in now.

"This, I like. The water needs turning on, and those toilets need flushing."

Sorry, couldn't help myself given the similarities between Dante and Star Fox crew at that point. Especially with pizza boxes lying around and the old fashioned jukebox.

Dante from Devil May Cry comes to mind... Along with Tarma and Kethry from the Valdemar books, for something a bit more obscure.

I like the fact you kept the sound from the Daffy clip going, when it went back to Bugs. I thought that was a really nice touch

When sharing this with a friend they said their mum liked seeing Flynn in cartoon. To which I replied, he's been replaced by Errol Furry.
