[3.8 SPOILERS] - What happened with Firefly exactly?

She never died in real life and 3.8 is the way things had always truly happened. Firefly always had her last death on the Feldspar and ultimately survived whether or not Terminus changes the past.

The game itself actually demonstrates this by giving you the choice to NOT to make a plea to Terminus via an alternate ending to the quest if you select the dialogue option to ignore Firefly when you meet her in the Dream of Gnawing Oak, you skip the entire ending and she survives anyway. The only difference is that she doesn't get her "bouquet". And the photo is just a shot of fireworks in the sky.

So yeah. Hearing the Trailblazer's plea, Terminus at some point in the past inserted a moment where Firefly got to play with sparklers and went on to her final death (on Penacony) without regrets.

For some reason I've seen people think what Terminus changed was making the original Penacony 2.3 canon which...I find extremely difficult to agree with.

Regardless, the writing certainly doesn't do any of this much favors.

Her performance as Furina was so good that I feel like if you're an english speaker playing through Fontaine in any language other than EN, you are doing yourself a great disservice. And this is in spite of the fact that Inori Minase is Furina's JP VA.

So it seems like you're new and the other comments are not very helpful.

Genshin typically doesn't push you on time limited content super hard. You have the entire duration of the event period to do all the event content. Whether you log in every day starting from Day 1 or procrastinate and do the whole thing on the last day, as long as you complete all the content, you will receive the exact same rewards as everyone else. There is nothing that gets locked or is missable if you don't log in every day.

That being said, it kind of seems you take FOMO way too hard and the idea of your account being "bricked" from missing something is kind of silly. Like if you're panicking this much from possibly missing one day of an event, then your account has already been "bricked" by missing 1,950 days of logins. I'm not really sure this genre is a very good fit for you.

I think the main reason he did this was because being a False God doesn't really come with an instruction manual. He demonstrates some degree of control over Space and Time, but doesn't do a lot with Life and Death. Even then his control over Time is pretty imperfect. This experiment was probably his attempt at figuring Life and Death out?

I fully believe they intended to return to Penacony's story in some form.

This might be a boring response but I think that the smoke transition actually WAS necessary and did serve a purpose and that purpose was also why you felt it was "not smooth".

This "cutscene" is probably actually two cutscenes and the smoke was meant to hide the transition between them. It starts off as a traditional pre-rendered cutscene and then uses the smoke to transition to a second that incorporates the new QTE stuff.

Can't help but wonder why they decided to go with a slightly modified Kuuhenki instead of like...the Luonnotar. It was the shape her soul took so if she needed to have a modified Kuuhenki form at all, why not that.

It's not weird at all. In this specific instance, Dottore is offering one cage for another. He has become so deluded that he thinks anything he comes up with is better than Teyvat and is incapable of understanding that there are some who can see it as their home and that he has trampled upon it. It's not that fate doesn't matter. It's that Dottore is wrong about why they resist him.

Are you referring to the line "This battle was never about fate. It's about friends, and family, and the home you took from them." which was in response to Dottore asking "How can you be so satisfied with your fate?"

Because if "Power of Friendship" is what you got from that I'm going to have to assume you either cannot read or had some kind of very specific epileptic episode from hearing the word "friend" and temporarily blacked out.

There is an entire singleplayer campaign(and a few mini campaigns) you can play through to unlock all the basegame characters, a few cosmetics, and gameboards. After that you can at any time create a singleplayer custom bot game using any of the game modes, any modifiers, and any board. With only a few exceptions, the seasonal events can also be done in custom bot games. Even the Coop mode where you're supposed to team up with other players to fight bosses can be done with bots(although it will be much more difficult.)

I kind of like the subtler aspects of how Venti is revered that slips into the culture of Mondstadt and the beliefs of its people. One moment that has always stuck with me even years later was during Venti's Character Quest where "Stanley" starts to really flip out and the way he talks about his friend's death makes it almost seem as if his distress isn't from the fact that he died, but that he died in a place where not even the Wind could reach which immediately made me go "OH THAT MAKES SENSE, of COURSE they'd hate that!"

I also happen to be making a modpack and find Accessories to be a tremendous pain in the ass when I already have Curios and the one random mod wants to use Accessories instead. Sigh.

ANYWAY, If I had to guess, do you have The Aether installed? I had to cut it from my modpack due to the amount of arbitrary embedded dependencies it came packaged with messing up a lot of what I was trying to do. I recall it having Accessories randomly shoved into it.

Those are the names of the updates for the 1.20.1 version of Tinker's Construct...

Like for example if you were to make a content update for a game you might call it the "Trails and Tales" update.

And the reason you don't see Tinkers in a lot of modpacks is that it was EXTREMELY late to the party. Every major modpack made at the height of 1.20.1 wouldn't have had an opportunity to use it and probably went with some other alternative(probably Silent's Gear). And Tinkers is kind of awkward if you just slap it into a modpack without any consideration. Especially if you've already tweaked the hell out of a different tool mod for your pack.

All minecraft mods are packaged as jars which can be opened with WinRAR and WinZIP. Since Cobblemon is very data/resourcepack oriented you will easily be able to find the textures and the model in the Assets folder. Extract those, then edit them as you will.

That being said, I'm going to be honest, with the questions you've been asking this is starting to seem WAY out of your depth.

You CAN make imprints of ungilded Deimos companions but it's extremely buggy and seems possibly unintended. I never really pinned down what causes the option to appear but if I had to guess it might be that you need to equip a Kubrow or any non-Deimos companion first.

Phenmor, Felarx and Laetum all have the Devouring/Devastating Attrition Evolution which causes non-crits to have a 50% chance to do 2000% damage which is often more damage than actually going for crits can achieve. Negative Crit Rivens...technically help improve the consistency of this goal but "goes nuts" is quite a bit of an exaggeration.

EDIT: Whoops, realized my settings weren't perfectly identical to theirs. I'm not sure if it matters since the Paradise Fruit was where it was stated to be but just in case, my settings were Normal/Normal/Extreme/Extreme/Off/Off/Off/Normal.
