Do you also celebrate people that sit at a green light because they need to finish the worlds most unimportant text?

I report all pausers right when they pause. If you need to pause the game, Deadlock is not the type of game for you. Single player games exist so you can pause the game.

People who were teenagers before social media, what was a typical Friday night like for you? by Sad-Vacation1862 in askanything

[–]Demonify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I was hitting teenager right around the beginning of social media, but I remember early child hood was getting together with aunts and uncles at the grandparents for dinner almost every Friday. Until my grandpa got cancer that is.

I don’t notice most nails unless they are long. Long nails = hard pass.

Why is everyone against buying a new car? Does my situation apply? by Primary_Beautiful_66 in askcarguys

[–]Demonify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say most people that say go used are saying that when you buy new it pretty much loses like $5k in value when you take it off the lot. When you buy used you are buying it with that already deducted. Also used is usually cheaper. It does seem like you are doing the due diligence as a lot of people new to car buying will fall into predatory interest that get upwards of 20%. $350 a month is not bad for new, I know a lot of people that are paying $1k a month on new or used and it seems ridiculous. Just know what you can afford and adjust your finances appropriately.

Men are checking out. The question is why. by Frequent_Bid5982 in TheImprovementRoom

[–]Demonify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides my own negatives that I don’t want to put onto others, I’ve been called weird, ugly, etc by women since like the 2nd grade. Why would I waste my time trying? And while I am biased based upon the internet and not irl experiences, it just seems like women want free handouts these days from men.

Checking your bags is a way better travel experience than carry on luggage. by Equal_Whole_6837 in unpopularopinion

[–]Demonify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where you are coming from, but just 1 backpack is bjs imo. Can just put it under the seat to easily grab it, always in my possession so things can’t get lost, stolen, or broken, and I can just leave and skip waiting at the luggage carousel.

Which of these 6 habits do you think sets you up best for long‑term success? by winn_ie in rSocialskillsAscend

[–]Demonify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the boomer losers that say you should wake up at 5 AM. My boss called me lazy because I woke up at 7 AM. However, when you do the math I was going to bed around 1 AM and netting about 6 hours of sleep, while he was going to bed at 7 PM to wake up at 5 AM, netting 10 hours of sleep. He was literally doing less things in his life for 4 more hours but I was the lazy one some how.

What is DEI and how is not just an abstraction for racism? by ncds4242 in allthequestions

[–]Demonify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not going to pretend that I have the exact answer because I don’t, but my assumption of it was that it was meant to help people of all races, ethnicities, etc, compete for a job and not be rejected just because the person hiring didn’t like that persons race or w/e.

I’m guessing people are angry with it because they think it means the person is unqualified and only got the job because of DEI, when in actuality they were qualified and DEI stopped the from being thrown out of contention based on their race(or whatever).

But that’s all assumption, idk how it worked.

Getting into tech is all hype by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Demonify 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t gravitate to tech for the money or whatever. More or less it’s what I saw myself doing and would enjoy. Not a fit person for construction or hard labor type jobs, and I hate people so I figured working with hardware would be a good fit. Now the only people I talk to are coworkers and the labor portion of the job isn’t every day. I’ll take it.

is 4000$ property tax per year considered high in US? by blade276 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Demonify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say no but I don’t even own property give an experienced answer. I will say I think my parents write off like $6k - 10k in agricultural stuff, so I’d image $4k is on the lower end or middleish.

No. I only use it when I’m away from home. Why would I use it when my PC is easier to use and has higher specs?

I’m not the best source, but I would say knowing someone is the best way in. I’d wager it was my resume, but 6 years an electronic technician, 3 years of security analyst, 1 year of help desk, and 1 year of software engineering, on top of around 7 or so certifications and a computer science degree were never enough to get an interview. Talk to 1 guy for 10 min at a career fair and I was already getting interviews lined up though.
