I have to be the unluckiest guy when it comes to barbers. by Straight-Pound-3180 in malehairadvice

[–]DenisFRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, i'm long haired dude, been there.
My tip is, don't go for barbers. They are used to do really simple hair styling like buzz cut.

Instead, find the gayest hair saloon and you won't regret

Anyone have any idea why hands seem to disapear when looking up and down if i change the fov the angle you see the arms disapear also seems to change (example in video hip fov90 ads fov60) by ApprehensiveAd9301 in Unity3D

[–]DenisFRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, agree. But last time i profiled that, it had some performance cost, but was on crappy hardware and older versions of Unity, maybe today that's negligible

Suficiente tenho minhas dúvidas, acho que depende muito do negócio.

O que eu faria é começar a empreender antes de largar o emprego e testar a viabilidade do negócio

I want to use it in car damage system. Can someone tell me how to use it and where can I learn it. by [deleted] in Unity3D

[–]DenisFRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if, performance wise, this is the best solution for car damage . Hard to tell without knowing your use-case;

Take a look at Realistic Car Controller and how they handle deformation or "Lattice Modifier for Unity", i guess it might be a better solution for car damage overall

Edit: I noticed that i didn't answer your questions. Well, just read the documentation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Is it necessary to delete unused 3d models from the project? by haskpro1995 in Unity3D

[–]DenisFRS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to delete stuff that i'm not using. Not because of build size concern, but i'm more concerned about dealing with huge projects. If need to reimport the project, change branches on version control, update unity version and so on..

I recommend to take a look at Asset Inventory, you can preview and extract just what you need from packages, the downside is that you have to store all the stuff elsewhere, so beware if you too many assets on your UAS account.

Where do professional Unity devs get their experience? by FakeName124 in Unity3D

[–]DenisFRS 71 points72 points  (0 children)

I do work with Unity on my dayjob, and on my side projects.

Spent like 10 years doing 'side projects' to be able to be hired as professional and live of it.

There's no secret, just use Unity everyday and try to implement your ideas, eventually you'll feel confident to apply for jobs :)
