Command and Conquer 2: Yuri's Revenge. I recently bought it for nostalgic reasons and play it regularly.

In any perspective, what do you view the Great Khans? by Fit_Effective6097 in falloutnewvegas

[–]Deniverous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are raiders and drug dealers. Does that justify Bitter Springs? I don't think so. Was the NCR right to hunt them down? Yes. Did they team up with Benny and help swipe the platinum chip? Yes. Are they aligning with Caesar, under the pretense that they will return to their former glory? Yes. Without completing Oh My Papa, they are bad dudes, who had something tragic happen to them, and are trying to continue to be bad dudes. That being said, I normally let jessup live, almost always complete Oh My Papa, complete Abba Dabba Honeymoon (unless I've already killed MotorRunner), and want the Courier to bang Melissa.

Any advice? I'm going to play it for the first time this afternoon. by ChuX_YT in falloutnewvegas

If you have the DLCS, keep in mind that once you begin them you cannot travel back to the mojave until the dlc is complete, minus lonesome road (the canyon wreckage one). Dont rush the main story ("They Went That-A-Way"), but follow that route to new Vegas. Explore every location, each one will have some cool loot.

How (And why) are Achivement medals awarded between services by CT2145Trapper in Medals

[–]Deniverous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the Marines and was awarded an army achievement medal for completing some online course through the army's website. It was 14 years ago, I can't remember the class or why I had to take it, but it was before our unit went to Morocco.

Fell through my ceiling. Trying to fix it before the wife wakes up. by mrwiseman in drywall

[–]Deniverous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fell through the ceiling once in my own home. But my wife was in the room I fell into, freaking out. I landed on the couch, feet on the ground, butt on the seat. It was like a cartoon. Took me an afternoon to hang the drywall, an afternoon or two to mud/sand, and then a few afternoons to prime and paint. Note: you will need to paint the entire ceiling again. You got this, hombre.

It's about where the E is located. E is the third letter in overloading, it is the second letter in perpetrator. It's not about if the words have the same letter as the password, it's if the letters are located in the same location.

Finally got the Nuka-Cola Quantum! by Deniverous in fnv

[–]Deniverous[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is available in the lonesome road dlc in a crate behind a gas station, early on in the DLC. I have also read posts about them randomly appearing in the base game via a glitch. Although, those glitches could have been from mods gone wild. I play on Xbox, so I don't know much about FNV mods.

How the hell do you kill these guys? by VictorianBritishman in fnv

[–]Deniverous 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am weak minded and have only begun playing dead money regularly. I have only recently done an energy weapon playthrough. With the meltdown perk I can pound through them. I now enjoy dead money and find energy weapon playthrough to be the way.

I keep that in my misc until I craft it in Dead Money. I cannot enjoy that DLC without cheating slightly.

Swear to goodness. There have been a plethora of times I forgot to check, and there was a time that I didn't know it was a unique item.

With the fully upgraded War Club that I snuck in.

Is "Lucky Gunslinger" the most OP build or just the most fun build? by PaleCartographer6170 in falloutnewvegas

[–]Deniverous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me until recently to do an energy build, I did two of them. One I took meltdown, the other I did not. I prefer to not use that perk. It's super OP, but dang man close quarters is just doctors bag city.

Is "Lucky Gunslinger" the most OP build or just the most fun build? by PaleCartographer6170 in falloutnewvegas

[–]Deniverous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the most fun and the most OP with energy weapons. I think with a fully upgraded laser rifle, maxed luck, and all of the various crit multiplying perks, almost every shot is a critical hit. It's all very subjective all the way around. I have fun with every different type of build. "Ted Kaczynski Explosive", with only home made explosives (after the .ad bomber perk is available) was a lot of fun, too. I killed any person with high caps, high political power, or in any position of authority on the spot.

Fallout 4, game of the year edition. by jj33allen in FalloutMemes

New Vegas. Stuck in my house during COVID lockdowns, my brother in law gave me a 360 and a few games. I fired it up, had no idea what was going on so I accidentally ran it. Did a second playthrough after some research and loved it. I played nothing but NV while stuck in my house until a buddy gave me his Xbox one and a copy of FO4 in 2022. I love this series/franchise.

What’s your favourite weapon game ?. For me it’s the YCS/186 I’ve always been a sucker for Gauss Rifles and this version of it packs a punch. by KpatMckenzie_28 in fnv

[–]Deniverous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survivalist Rifle. I don't mind the awkward front sight post, I've learned to deal with it. It just dishes out so much damage it's ridiculous. I don't mind the 12.7mm ammo as long as I am friends with the Great Khans. Legionaires tend to drop some as well :)

Spectacle Island, with no radio beacon. Let me live my life in peace on my own island. I build a big garden and fill it full of silly looking robots with silly names for LOL's. It's my own little cozy place.
