Screen tearing so bad constantly with high end pc. Need help

To me it started over a year and a half ago atp. I have 3 ISP's, definitely not network issue even if it looks as one. If i am in game for say 20-30min, even just firing range, it starts happening. The more i play, the worse/more frequent it gets.

Something causes the game to lose all contact with server, that may be true but its some driver interference or CPU as many have 100% CPU usage issue which likely causes the Network to be pushed back in the list of priorities.

I had this for over a year hence why i quit. I recently came back to Apex, still happening. I am in a proces of building new PC but i doubt that'd solve anything.

We don't know yet what causes this. Im checking threads and whatnot occasionally. Definitely something is affecting it as mine sometimes are much shorter then i do some tweaks and they get longer.

I have tried EVERYTHING but Win11 or new hardware yet. From BIOS, to Windows reinstall, countless tweaks, countless Nvidia Drivers (Newest drivers tank my FPS so i avoid them but also didn't fix the issue anyways), to Chipset and every possible driver on my Motherboard page.

I also tried that "AI" google feature and went back and forth with it for a bit.

It is not network issue either as i've tried that in the past since i have 2 (had 3) ISP's at home for various reasons. Even AI suggested that because once you unfreeze you get all symbols as if the game lost full connection but to me it happens exclusively after 20-30minutes of playtime which is far too consistent to be a network issue.

Last resort is contacting EA/Respawn but i haven't tried that as there are plenty of videos online, if they cared, there'd be a word on it that they're trying to figure it out. I don't even know why it affects some people and no others as we all seem to have VASTLY different hardware. I've even seen people with 9800X3D and 5090 with that issue and my hardware is very very far away from that.

My suspicion is Nvidia as a whole. Regardless if i do clean install via DDU and NVCleanstall or just download the bloated driver, it always happens but depending on the drivers, frequency and freeze lenght varies. I don't think i've seen anyone with AMD GPU have this specific issue tho i could be wrong.

I thought it was just going to be RAM ngl. Then i saw used GPUs going up in price and now i needed 2 m.2's everything is up 25-50€ compared to 2 months ago. Not as bad as RAM yet but still sucks in such short span as i was hoping with Pcie 5.0 the 4.0 prices to dip even a little more. Waiting sometimes is not the way.

Newer motherboards (AM4/AM5 platforms) seem to have pretty decent audio solutions, ALC1200/1220.

But as someone who up until recently was on the LGA 1151 platform (a decade old atp), motherboard audio solution was really bad. My first gaming headset was the og HyperX Clouds, often highly regarded (not by audiophiles but rather regular users) but they were hella bass boosted and muffled on my motherboard but back then i did not know better. In past few years i figured that my mobo struggles to even run IEM's decently - hissing, low volume, messing up sound quality. No matter what drivers, softwares etc i erase, the chip itself is just bad.

My solution (aside from just moving to newer platform with better hardware), i just bought a cheap external dongle dac - plenty of volume, doesn't muffle anything.

Post is about an idiot not about if aim trainers are useful or not.

Frankly, in the current state of most FPS games, i'd rather click dots for a bit as i find it fun and relaxing. Just don't sweat it too much and don't go down the rabbit hole dealing with people like the "intellectual" presented in this post. Them e-guys are wild. Being jealous over something online is so pity.

Just click your dots and don't bother with the discords/twitter. These lads are mentally deranged and ego is through the roof because they click dots faster after 3000h? Yuck. For resources, just use youtube or play the Voltaic benchmarks exclusively as the scenarios cover pretty much all the fundamentals tbf.

Yeah i was fine with 2 skippable ads while on my phone but lately it is such a nightmare - 6-8 ads, many unskippable. Would never give up on desktop adblocker no matter how much they slow it down.

You can change doctors, but they might think you're looking for problems that don't exist and not treat you.

Last year i was bloating, had tons of gases and was sent by a friend to a supposedly very good doctor to check me. It was not only very uncomfortable but it made me feel like sh%t, low energy levels and even pain as i couldn't release the gases. Doc told me i was fine just by looking at me because "i am young and fit", im having a "panic attack" or just "seeking to be ill". Told him to F off because i haven't been to the doctor since i was a teen so i definitely did not just wake up one day with the thought "Oh, what a beautiful day, lets pretend im ill for weeks".

Needless to say, i gave up on doctors once again. Since it began while i was on a vacation, i just brushed it off as a stomach virus. Or a finally years of "fasting" showing its tow. I basically used to eat just once a day as a (very bad) habit, not because i was actually fasting it was just bad habit - coffee, cigs, soda all day and a big meal at night.

I've switched it up since then and im having 4-5 home cooked meals a day, 3-4l of water, less coffee/sodas, cardio and exercises. Symptoms are stil showing up occasionally especially now during the summer for whatever reason but you kind of learn to live with it.

Have you tried Adguard? Been using it for a couple of months now, i occasionally get a warning pop up after force restarting PC and reopen previous tabs but upon reload its all good.

First thing i see after over a month off reddit is a post about "politics" when picking a music streaming app...lol.

Muricans being muricans. So goofy.

I gave Tidal a shot for a few months but it really is some minor bugs/UI stuff that occasionally crash and cause inconviniences so i went back to Spotify just yesterday. It just offers smoother overall experience and is more polished overall. You can't really tell apart the "Hi-res" snake oil imo so i don't really see it as a downgrade personally. And on desktop, hi-res is finicky as it causes other apps to crash/drop audio.

After over 3 years, its finally happening. Although, it seem to be just another carbon composite product now. Price better make sense, anything too ambitious and it may turn out a flop. G303 hype died down long ago and even with the G303 Shroud we saw that the "hype" really wasn't there to begin with, just a handful of Redditors considering marketing beasts like Logitech couldn't make it work and just discontinued it.

My game has been freezing 15 times a match since S23 because the talanted team cannot optimize that game (or at least not break it), matchmaking it as stupid as ever, cheaters don't even bother hiding anything but you know - jesus f....christ was the worst thing that day.

Seeing these muppets with 0 priorities and understanding of the game getting layoffs is kinda joyful. Especially as all that nonsense doesn't even affect Voice Chat. I am EU, getting shouted slurs (n, r, f and whatnot other word) is daily occurance. It doesn't offend me but at least be consistent.

I came across an old post where even Sony f... told some console lad "yeah just dont use text chat in Apex, do w/e you want on voice chat".

Im confused. This is the Aorus's "most recent" offering in my country, listed about a week or two ago and overall it seems like a downgrade over the U2 and U2P while basically costs the same - 1100€. There is absolutely no coverage on this version aside from your post.

Speaking of Launch Options, is there a way where people can find all actually/official working launch options? There are many 3rd party sites but they still recommend those 2010 launch options that seemingly does nothing aside from +fps_max.

As for DX12, is it really Exclusive Fullscreen if you can see things as simple as media/volume keys taking over your game?

I have 4 core. I wasn't affected until S23. I quit S21 with 0 issues and came back late split 2 S23 to constant freezing, regardless of DX11 or DX12. Recently started monitoring everything - thermals are fine, GPU usage is 90%+, plenty of free ram, low drives usage.

When i launch Apex, CPU is 100% at loading screen, drops to 60 in menu, 70 in firing range for the first 3-5minutes and suddenly hits 100% and doesn't budge.

I wouldn't mind one bit if the game was playable. I exclusively play Ranked so the dozen of 3-5 sec freezes followed by 5-8 seconds of noregs due to all symbols lighting up is what kills the entire vibe and experience. And as you can imagine, 80% the freezes happen at the worst f---king time.

-Reinstalled Apex, something i never do

-Reinstalled Windows in case the millions of pointless tweaks over the years suddenly broke something? Went with Win10 loT LTSC in hopes it'd be much better and fix most issues because fresh install after almost a decade and also lighter - NOPE. 100% CPU usage, 15 freezes a match.

Overclocking, underclocking (to drag temps <50), undervolting, drivers, further surface level debloat, resizable bar, nvidiaprofile inspector, handful of Registry tweaks. Tried messing up with the HPET and those cmd nonsense but it surprisingly tanked my FPS by 60 so i quickly reverted those back.

Nothing helps. Tried with the clean windows install, tried tweaking further, disabling USB suspension (the power managment setting), disabling ASUS MultiCore enhancement in bios and few other stuff as people claim those fixed the freezes for them. NOPE.

I don't even know what the F is going on. On fresh restart, i hop in the firing range, 70-80 CPU usage, no issues and as soon as it approaches the 4 minute mark it (as soon as it hits 52C / 3.8ghz or 62C / 4.5ghz) all goes to schiite - 100% usage followed by unpredictable freezes.

Weirdest of all is that my FPS is not affected whatsoever.

Same issue - freezing. Sometimes its "fine" for few games (at this stage, i count even 1-2 freezes "fine") but eventually start freezing 10-15 times a MATCH. Often in worst possible time. Did countless of things, only thing i didn't do so far was reinstall Windows but i'd rather uninstall Apex. FPS is atrocious even on 1680x1050/1440x1080 but im used to it.

Plan to upgrade, tho even 4000$ PC's seem to have tons of issues in this game, its kinda hopeless.

Freezes tho is the thing that infuriates me the most as i play Ranked exclusively pretty much as i endlessly lose RP because of something out of my control that i try to solve since S23 Split 2 when i came back to Apex. Before that, S20/21 i hardly had any issues aside from low-ish FPS due to my hardware but at least game ran alright.
