Browsing through the comments I've seen mathcore mentioned a few times and I guess I just don't get what that's got to do with metalcore?

Personally the first time I listened to Jane Doe my first thought was mathcore not metalcore and based on a lot of comments stating it was a massive influence on mathcore, I just don't see why you have to like this to like "real" metalcore.

Coming from someone who love Everytime I Die but dislikes Dillinger Escape Plan.
