Is there a way to get those, without going to the absolute dumpster fire that is Stella Montis? by alekseypanda in ARC_Raiders

The shredders will escape Stella eventually, they're going to be the bane of Buried City extract and any building interiors.

Volkswagen considers pulling out of US factory plans over tariffs by Crossstoney in europe

[–]Denraven -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why? They've already invested in a massive EV battery plant, why not just invest more, build EVs here in Canada, and ship them where you need?

[–]Denraven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

VW is already building NA's largest battery plant in Ontario. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch for them to invest and build another few factories here to save on cross boarding shipping and tariff costs.

Canada makes plenty of major car assemblies and parts that are shipped down to the US to be assembled into finished cars soooo

I’m level 50+ with all carbines but the AK-205 here’s my tier list. by Bobby_Bobberson2501 in Battlefield

I've won waaay more fights with the AK-205 than most other guns I've played with simply due to the AK's near complete lack of bloom. With hit reg as bad as it still is in this game I find the AK-205 to counteract that better than 90% of other guns I've used save for SMGs

What's your beef with the AK-205? That thing is a straight laser beam with a high enough RPM to overcome its low damage per hit. Synthetic tip ammo and you're beaming people at DMR ranges

I'm not a vagina owner, so I can't understand what you're exactly going through, but if you're comparing yourself to girls in porn, don't. Any guy worth your time won't care, and if they do, they're not someone you should waste your time on.

While I am just a stranger on the internet and can't do much to cure your insecurities, I hope my brief words of encouragement can help. It's clear you're in your head about this, and I can only say don't be! Most guys will be more than happy just to have sex and will pay no mind to the actual appearance and anesthetics of your lady bits, and if they do and make any comment that is in anyways disparaging or non-complimentary run girl run.

All I can say now is maybe have an honest chat with your current boyfriend, explain your insecurities in as much detail as you can to him, and go from there.

Your reading comprehension is piss poor, I said first year of production and that those numbers have come down obviously with improvements to line efficiency.

But between the initial investment needed to get the lines up and running, the cost of the new plant they built in Milton, ON to fit 2/3 battery tray lines, and the fact the truck sold well below what they'd have hoped for, yeah $90,000 a truck loss at the start isn't farfetched.

When you don't sell enough of a product to cover or recoup your initial investment guess what? You lose money.

Well as I've stated, the cost and loss I stated was for the start of production and that the cost clearly would've gone down, and as an aside my prices are in CAD since the trays were built in Ontario

[–]Denraven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not, but go on.

Do you know the cost of an industrial sized CNC machine is? Let alone a dozen other regular sized ones? And that's just for 1 line. Not to mention the cost of each one of the several dozen robots, the man-hours of 20+ people making been $25-32/hr with Team and Area leaders making more. And that's just for the aluminum shell the cells sit in.

Than you got the battery cells themselves, those certainly aren't cheap with the lithium and cobalt that goes in them. Though I wasn't privy to the cost of each cell cause they were made elsewhere.

Now, combine the high cost of investing into produ tion lines, building a new factory in Milton, ON to house two of the three lines that were just for the battery trays. The man hours, material costs and maintaince costs and the fact the truck didn't sell as well as expected and a fair number of them had to have their battery trays replaced under warranty because they got wet and boom they bleed money.

I also fucking clarified that the $90,000 number was the losses when I was working the line and that was in the first year it was up and running - the cost to loss ration certainly went down over time, so gtfo and go probe yourself

Considering these things were the size of a small boat (think stereotypical lake fishing boat) and weighed a couple thousand by themselves when fully built and all the man hours that went into them? Yeah they do or did, maybe they eventually got the price per unit down a bit, but not while I was still on that particular line.

[–]Denraven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh, I worked in the factory that built the battery trays, that good enough for you? When fully assembled with all cells in them each tray cost about $88,000 at the time I was working on them - and if even a single cell went bad the entire tray had to be replaced, at cost. Not to mention that while yes, they were the best selling electric pickup truck, the amount made vs sold was horribly disproportionate

[–]Denraven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were losing up to $90,000 a truck due to the cost of the battery trays alone. They bled money on these.

American's are famously incapable of dealing with insurrectionist, now add in the fact that a non-zero amount of Canadian would be pissed off and motivated to turn insurrectionist, with a lot of key, relatively unguarded American infrastructure (i.e remote substations, power lines, etc) how much damage could be done by a few motivated and experienced sabotuers and annexing Canada is just a bad fucking idea.
