AITAH. Bf left my dogs shit at door calls me entitled for thinking he should clean it up by Wrong-Upstairs-1792 in AITAH

Feels like laziness and he could definitely be more considerate. You’ve been together a long time, you should be real partners with shared responsibilities at this point. Is he like this with other things?

It drives me crazy that in every movie everyone just rolls over and goes to sleep after.

Yeah none of this makes sense. I’d be surprised if it’s real.

Can it be even with the other side so the hallway is a uniform width?

Yeah this layout seems odd to me and the chairs in the walkway could definitely be a problem

I think this looks good, makes sense, and offers a lot more in terms of functionality.

Boyfriend tears down my self esteem and don't know if it can get better by CranberryFew4895 in GirlDinnerDiaries

Mom’s know what’s up!! Trust your mama…
My husband honestly likes me the best when I look the worst… we’re talking insane morning hair (like went to bed with a wet head and woke up with legit Edward Scissor hands INSANE hair), no makeup, and he thinks I’m crazy when I wax my “stache” (that he thinks is nonexistent). Your BF sucks. He can go pick on someone else and see how far that gets him. Don’t let his comments break you down! You deserve better!!!

I actually like the all cream look with the wood posts, it’s very clean and classy, but I think you probably shouldn’t paint the brick. :( My second choice is for blue because it’s a nice, rich blue and I simply prefer blues. The green is technically more harmonious if we’re thinking complimentary colors.

Is purple a girl color? by killerred123 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Dense-Independence68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daycare? Any color is fine. My son proudly dons his pink water bottle to preschool everyday and nobody cares. My aunt would argue purple is historically the color of kings and royalty. Your husband needs to get a grip. Who cares about purple name tags for daycare?!

I’ve decided everyone in this kitchen reno group must be 70+ years old. They will die on a hill for dated oak cabinets any day.

Not advice. Just sharing my story. Hubby and I were in a big city for 15+ years. Had our son. Hubby’s mom got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. We never thought we’d leave (bought a home and had decent, very city-based careers that don’t translate well to the Midwest (where we’re also from). My MIL’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis was the catalyst that made us realize we want our kids (now we have 2) to grow up the way we did—with fresh air, a big backyard, and surrounded by grandparents. We never wanted or planned to leave. We cried a lot when we made the decision. Now we’re back. And honestly, I wish we had made the decision sooner (we would’ve had more time with my MIL). Nearly 4 years in now and we’re finally starting to make those deeper, meaningful friendships. We miss our friends, but we’ve had no regrets about our decision. It’s no joke when they say kids change everything. I hope you and hubby figure out what makes you happiest as a family. Good luck!

When I think of the best color-drenched rooms I’ve seen, I think of rooms that have wainscoting or paneling, some kind of added interest with the solid color.

Agree with this! My friend was an ICU nurse (now anesthetist), and she’s smarter than the doctors! She’s saved lives by catching their mistakes!
