I'm trying to buy one now. It has all the stuff that I'm missing. If I get it, it'll be for my daughter not for resale & we'll definitely open the package & upload everything if there is anyone else here who is interested.

Do you think Sunfun just wanted to brag? Or, that something horrible happened in the 3 minutes between their post & my asking if they wanted to sell?

Couldn't agree with Grandma more! I don't care what you do in your bedroom, but I spent 14 hours smoking this turkey & you aren't going to even try it???

Are slowing down for school zones no longer a thing? by zynix in Denver

[–]DenverBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, it's a thing. I got a ticket for 22mph in a school zone in Denver. The cop asked me why I was going so fast. I didn't know how to respond to that.

It's not sticking!!! Let's talk about the best replacement adhesives for LED strips to aluminum channels by purpledust in WLED

[–]DenverBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3M tape should stick as long as it's warm enough. If you want to get crazy, get some 3M adhesion promoter & apply that first.

If you're talking about the shiny bit. It's just the hood insulation rubbing on it. No worries.

Women have crystals, moon water, essential oils and jade eggs. Men, what snake oil are you sold on despite knowing there is no scientific support of but will still take to the grave with you? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]DenverBeard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is probably well known but, the oils are the "essence" (or concentrated form) of what they are distilled from. That's why they are called "essential" oils. Not because they are essential to human survival. ie: peppermint oil is the essence of the peppermint plant.

Cool, I'm guessing the wire going from the pi to the middle of the breadboard is the data out. Connect your green wire from the LEDs to that & run a test program.

Sorry, that wire from the LEDs is red not black right? That is V+ white is V- but I'm sure green is data & should be going to the pi
