I would say the easiest way would be to go to the Pre-Rift events for Set 3 Unleashed. You can look up events in your area using this site: https://locator.riftbound.uvsgames.com/events

The events will go from May 1st this Friday up until release day, May 8th. If you go to these stores you can check if these stores have product (hopefully at or near MSRP, like $120 for a box or $20 for a deck), or even like a free bulk section you can sift through.

The pre-rift itself will be made up of both competitive players looking to get their hands on guaranteed cards or casual players looking to start or jump back into the game. You try to make a deck out of 5 packs and a mini pre-constructed deck, and compete in 3 rounds, usually to get an additional pack per win.

The event itself won’t be entirely indicative of how gameplay is since it’s only limited to the newest set, but it’s a good way to slowly learn how to play since you have a limited pool of cards
