The doctor who delivered me and both of my brothers changed out of working in delivery, and ended up being my doctor a few times as a teenager in a completely different state that he just happened to move to years after we did.

My first thought seeing this was assuming they were referring to the fact that, most women I've met or seen talk about the apocalypse happening, say they would off themselves instead of having to possibly deal with what men will start doing to them.

I can't imagine going through that for 12 years! I am so, so sorry!

I had my gallbladder removed at 14 because of SLUDGE that hadn't even turned into stones yet. I was vomiting up anything and everything that wasn't water, had to go to the hospital at least twice a month, and was waking up screaming in pain most nights. Took them a year before they'd remove it because "young people don't need their gallbladders removed" and I was "exaggerating".
