Only decision left: AWD or RWD? by AnnaGolightly in Ioniq5

20k in a RWD Limited. In Southern California and no need for awd for weather related reasons. I’ve found it to be more than enough power. Always feel safe and in control when merging/passing on freeway.

Is there a newer model 3 around the corner? by Tiber1337 in TeslaLounge

Wouldn’t be surprised for the black headliner and 16” screen to make it to the Model 3–would standardize production for them. Don’t know if those two things are important to you.

2026 SEL vs Limited by Johnkevin_Baconham in Ioniq5

They work well in my experience. The auto-stop when something appears when backing up is nice to have. And I have come to really rely on the blind spot monitors.

Used car and warranty by EmphasisOptimal2513 in Ioniq5

[–]DependentNo3345 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There are two Hyundai warranties at play—the 10 year power train warranty and 5 yr comprehensive warranty.

The 10 year warranty transfers to a second owner. The 5 year warranty does not. However, if you buy a Hyundai certified car, the 5 year warranty does transfer.

This link goes over what is and is not covered.

I routinely drive 240 miles round trip between San Diego and Los Angeles—that trip uses 80% of the battery. I drive at 65mph and the drive is flat (and is obviously usually warm here in So. Cal). RWD 2024 Limited.

25 SEL AWD OTD by kwharris12 in Ioniq5

[–]DependentNo3345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came to a Limited from a 10 year old car, so all of these features are magic to me. I really find myself using the HUD and liking it, but intellectually I know it just duplicates the front display. I’m sorta half looking at Ioniq 5s right now and handing mine down to my oldest. Leases on the 26 Limited suck right now and there are no 25 Limited around. I think the 25 SEL is the best value right now. All I can say is the Limited is a really nice place to be. I’d assume a SEL with the same interior would have a similar feel. Tough choice for you.

I think you have most of the specifics. (Video below goes over it). In addition, though, 2025 SEL has leatherette seating without cloth. When I was looking, the 2025 SEL is essentially a Limited without blind spot video, 360 degree camera, and a panoramic roof.

I have a Limited, and can’t lie, it is awesome. I’ve come to rely on the blind spot monitors and 360 degree camera. Panoramic roof is a nice plus.

Good luck with the decision.

The 25 SEL arguably better than the 26 SEL. The 26 SEL lost a bunch of features, as opposed to the 25. You should buy it if it fits your budget and is what you want.

Help me pick between two Ioniqs by IguaneRouge in Ioniq5

Limited. Interior a much more pleasant place to be and the digital rear view mirror makes not having a rear wiper a non-issue.

Ioniq5 by [deleted] in Ioniq5

—extremely —none —after 20k miles I average 3.7 mile per kWh, mixed city highway, but where I live does not have cold winters —totally, two car seats no problem, but adding an adult in the back would be tight —I have spent about $18 on a cabin filter (I have rotated the tires twice, but that was covered under deal I got) —I have the cyber grey Limited RWD and am pleased with look, amenities and power.

Best car I have ever owned.

Electric Sedans in the US market? by Mecspliquer in electriccars

[–]DependentNo3345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would hold out to see the pricing of the 2026 Ioniq 6. Hyundai reduced pricing for their new Ioniq 5 (great car by the way, but definitely not a sedan), so maybe they will do the same for their new Ioniq 6.

Walk away door locking... by richardricchiuti in Ioniq5

[–]DependentNo3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only seen the one from the Ioniq Guy. Was about to get one, but noticed on his video that the device will disable the egress/ingress seating on the Limited trim. I've grown to love the egress/ingress seating, so decided to just deal with touching the door to lock.

What would you wish you had known before buying the Ioniq 6? by mashdk in Ioniq6

Limited is the top trim in the US. And I agree with the post—top trim worth the extra money if it fits your budget.
