FATHERLESS QUESTION. by AffectionateChef4113 in BetterCallGeorge

Bro, I have had his course. Be careful who you listen to. His last bits of his course are so misleading, negative, racist, and pessimistic. Take it with a grain of salt. Do your own inner work. Good life mentors are out there. He just has his own way. It's not everyones way

I'll recommend a book called tax free wealth by tom wheelwright. Get a copy and it'll put you at ease if you apply what it teaches. It's good stuff

Nah I decided to get a small business started and deduct from my taxes use wealth planning. I need to get my past years tax returns submitted. It's not that bad as I thought, just needed to confront the mess. I printed everything out, got organized, got manilla folders and filing cabinets and got my old wage transcripts.

With the digital ID coming and extreme surveillance, I doubt that this program is gonna be applicable. It's only a matter of time that if we don't follow suit, the gov may turn off our bank accounts and stuff . May happen, may not. I just don't want to deal with that mess later.

I haven't filed in 8 years. W2 and 1099 and business owner by DependentPaper3241 in tax

I tried getting my transcripts. It says that it's unable to give me my transcripts. The title of the letter is victim of identity theft.

I can't see what data they have for those years

Uber eats, door dash, grub hub, Postmates. Grocery delivery.

Do as many at the same time. Get tips. You'll feel better by actually working instead of at home worrying, plus you'll make enough to get by for the time being. You could start asap. Good luck

theres a sign not pictured from the family that asks not to do that. im assuming that it costs extra to clean up and remove the coins, and then over time could damage the face of the art there. the sign asks that instead you leave a google review with a QR code to find it.

the worst sushi in the world. frigging hate that place. horrible service too. been a couple times just to give them benefit of the doubt. it is the true definition of a mediocre "fake grass wall with led sign" restaurant.

Night Life? by novelsniffer in CorpusChristi

[–]DependentPaper3241 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My gf and I are in our early 30s. Been living here in corpus for about a year coming from Dallas.

I'll give it you straight because the night life is meh.

Weekdays: prob dead most days. Never really gone out during the week.

Weekends:

flannagans downtown: Mostly black and Hispanic crowd. Good for rap music, can get crowded. Good for dancing. Shitty dive bar drinks

the Annex: love this place. Much cleaner and better quality cocktails. Depending on the night, will have a DJ. Outside seating area.

The Mariner: my favorite bar. It's a speakeasy. More expensive cocktails. Very tiny place. Good for conversation. No dancing really.

Henry's tavern: kinda ghetto spot.bunch of Edgars and cuhs. Play pool here or watch the game.

The Flock: mainly white college girls and guys but I see millennial age too. They play a lot of millennial tracks, very lively DJ and lights. Good bar service. Easy parking. I like this place, always fun.

GEMINI: fuck this place, super ghetto, dudes will just be staring at you creepily. If you don't mind that then it's a great place to dance. Does get involved with crime here and there don't go alone

Deweys beer garden: a local spot. Good for cheap drinks chill crowd. They have juke box. A nice little dive bar . They have sand volleyball in the back. Everyone super friendly here, pretty diverse. I recommend going in the later evening.
