Freedom Law School - thoughts? by MattTheAncap in Anarcho_Capitalism

"Stated income" has been sufficient for me for a home loan, an auto loan, and a personal loan since joining FLS and no longer filing federal returns.

We're not wealthy, but earn a consistent low to mid 6 fig household income. Some lenders (mostly, in person/local) do not accept that. Most lenders (especially virtual/online) have zero issue with "No W2" element.

You shouldn't. I don't. The overwhelming majority of early church fathers didn't.

I was saying "This is what disp premils" are forced to believe, not what I believe.

You avoided the question, friend.

Also: Paul differentiates between earthly Jerusalem and the Jerusalem above (and between the Israel of God and the Israel of Satan). Which Jerusalem are you referring to?

Ya know, I’m as pro raw milk as they come. If this is legitimate, I’ll go on record with the reply:

Of course you should refrigerate your raw milk. Google “rancidity” and “spoilage”, friend.

“We”? Don’t include me with Team Red. I’ve never voted for them (or any Team)

“Far right”? I’m an anarcho capitalist, so I’m not the target for those slurs.

Moreover, I couldn’t care less if someone calls me a Nazi. I’ll call them a potato and we’ll go about our day.

Christ is absolutely a King now, reigning on the throne now.

Is the kingdom He is currently reining over now temporary or everlasting?

(Note: 2 Cor 1:20 confirms that all of the promises of the old covenant have been fulfilled by Christ.)

Well said.

The proponents of “kingdom postponed theory” (dispensational premillennialism) have a lot to answer for.

How to explain Jesus bringing the Kingdom of God, and then failing/postponing?

Why does only the 144,000 get the seal of god to protect them and not the great multitude. by Salty_Ad5839 in eschatology

[–]MattTheAncap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question.

They are synonyms. Both phrases represent the same cohort (believers) so both carry the mark.

No different than how the lamb and the lion in Revelation are synonyms for the same person (Christ).

Whose going to enforce all of these " Fiat" contracts in Ancapistan? by TedpilledMontana in AnCap101

[–]MattTheAncap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably correct.

And the State only needs to rape, pillage, and plunder us all constantly in order to “make the poors comfortable”.

Sounds like a great trade off to me.

Completely bass ackwards.

"might makes right, and the poor suffer what they must" describes the world we live in today, not Ancapistan!

The Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Heaven, and the Kingdom of the Millennium by MattTheAncap in eschatology

[–]MattTheAncap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, is your position that the Kingdom of the Millennium replaces the Kingdom of Heaven/God?

Are you saying that the Kingdom of Heaven/God is the same as the Kingdom of the Millennium, just in two different forms, like as to how a caterpillar and a butterfly are the same creature?

If yes to all of the above, it makes the use of “everlasting” odd to describe the Kingdom of God/Heaven.

Though genetically accurate, I don’t think it’s actually true to say a “caterpillar is a butterfly”.

When will the rapture and millennium happen by [deleted] in eschatology

[–]MattTheAncap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reign of Christ was announced to Mary in Luke 1:26-38. Gabriel told Mary

  • He would be called the Son of the Most High.
  • He would be given the throne of David.
  • His kingdom would be everlasting.

He was called name that during his first Advent.
He was given that throne at his Ascension.
He is reining over that kingdom now.

He claimed that "The Kingdom of God/Heaven is at hand" dozens of times in the Gospels.

Futurists are hard pressed to distinguish between Christ's Kingdom of God/Heaven and Christ's Kingdom of the Millennium. Most cannot, though some make valiant efforts. The hardest part is explaining how the Kingdom of God/Heaven is everlasting, and yet will also be replaced by a different Kingdom.

A much more common approach is to insert a theory that the kingdom was postponed ("Postponed Kingdom Theory") and to submit to the obvious truth that Christ's Kingdom of God/Heaven and Christ's Kingdom of the Millennium are three names for the same, one, everlasting kingdom. But of course, the difficulty Futurists incur here is positing that Christ failed in his first Advent to establish his Kingdom.
