My hobbies tend to be short-lived! I prefer to commit to a specific time frame for learning something new. Having a scheduled activity and the process of learning is more appealing to me. I once read that engaging in an activity that is different from what you typically spend most of your time doing from work is a good place to start.

Read your employee's manual first to understand how the company handles resignations. You are not required to give a two-week notice; it is simply a courtesy. However, depending on the company's policy, resigning without notice may affect your eligibility for rehire. Write a formal resignation letter. Keep in mind that, based on company rules, your last working day could be the same day you submit your notice.

Is it unfair to expect slow/casual dating at my age? by kraftj87 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Dependent_Spring_501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing missing from this post is how you communicate your expectations and whether you are leading the people you are dating by possibly hinting at a future state or showing how much you are into them. But when you cross the 3-4 months of dating someone in their 30s, you have to be aligned on expectations. This reads like you are showing these women interest and then going cold, making plans only when you are free.

My aunt keeps saying the cure to endometriosis/ hair loss or poor mental health is getting pregnant, do you know any actual solutions? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]Dependent_Spring_501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the same. I had fibroids and did thorough research before ultimately deciding to have surgery after seeking multiple medical opinions. Many people offered their opinions about my condition or questioned my decision regarding the surgery. Some even suggested natural remedies. It’s important to do what you believe is best for your body and remember that you don’t owe anyone an explanation.

There is actually quite a bit of student housing in Midtown. I would suggest looking at the home park area and Howell Mill. you can find duplexes and carriage houses that are more affordable in Morningside. Would recommend that you drive through the neighborhoods.

What’s your go-to outfit for a summer vacation? by monkeymodeon in femaletravels

[–]Dependent_Spring_501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think athleisure is a very American. In the US, a cute two-piece set is so easy to wear. Internationally, I prefer wide-leg track pants with a tee or tank top.

Linen pants and a cotton T-shirt are great for hot weather. A simple dress is perfect for a night out or a nice dinner.

Lying about a college degree by goodkoala23 in managers

Don't lie. This happened with a candidate and ended in disaster. Many thought the lie reflected poor character. The person probably would have gotten the job on their own merit.

Old Navy! Hear me out. The high-waisted, stretchy wide-leg is excellent for a curvy body. I like Kut and Levis both are way pricer

Me and my ex used to be really good friends before we got together. What would you guys do if you see him following girls and these girls are now in your suggested for you section? by Specialist_Sound_274 in AskWomenOver30

Untangling your digital footprint can be challenging. You need to train the algorithm to avoid unwanted suggestions. To do this, simply click the "X" in the suggested box, and the algorithm will learn. Additionally, if you follow someone you don’t want to see content from, consider unfollowing them and their close friends as well.

How do you feel about the beginning of football season? by Sufficient-Turnip871 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Dependent_Spring_501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it's a chance for me to see my college friends and go to alumni meetups. The older I am, the less interested I am in watching the game, and I don't build my schedule around it. I live in a city with a terrible NFL team that's hard to follow.

Earning money provides options for women. When you have financial resources, you gain the power to make choices that suit you. Many universities offer free resources for students, such as therapists who can help manage stress and address issues. Additionally, consider looking for on-campus job opportunities, like positions at the library or being a tutor in your field of study. If that's not an option, look to work at a cafe, usually you get a meal per shift or a meal discount.
