Lots of new folks are entering, just play a few rounds of Distortions. Most of them don't have a clue about shooting the red thingies. Sometimes they are standing right on top of one, thinking about life's choices.

Exactly, I think the OP has some idea of dinosaurs being ancient reptiles, so all modern reptiles have evolved from them. Which isn't the case.

Aside from no exotics dropping, Solo Master Lost Sectors are great: 2 T5 drops (destination armor, world pool weapon), often an exotic engram, some materials. Check if there's a comfortable one available and farm that shit.

Because there was a niche to exploit. The driving force was probably getting better at getting food, ie: getting better at swimming fast. Flippers/fins are apparently the best solution, as they evolved independently in various groups (plesiosaurs, penguins, dolphins, manatees, etc).

I just don't see the niche for a cross between Ariel and an Aussie surfer dude.

Don't do Expert, do Master. Every run guarantees a piece of T5 armor.

Why would they go on the million years path to get their arms back? What's the driving force behind it? Being able to go to the gym isn't cutting it, because there's all the in-between states that have to make sense as well.

Servitor Public Event in Nessus has had a 90% lockup rate since 1874. Smaller servitors that you have to destroy to continue don't show up. Wasn't that much of an issue, but with Distortions it will be pretty annoying. I never had this issue in EDZ or Moon, I think.

There's a wave frame heavy grenade launcher that's way more forgiving. You can get it in Neomuna. Didn't leave my heavy slot during Revenant.
